Hi -- I googled this and there appeared to have been some discussion of this a couple of years ago, but I am running into it now. I am attempting to attack a C3, the Grand State of Daras. (My country is the Republic of Bagram on Golden Rainbow, Lynx Minor, Marbella Maximus.) I dispatched troops to go to the border. They show they are in Daras, but my units' logs say "Unit stopped at the border of . Declare war before you invade or ask the president for permission to travel through the country."

I understand if this was a player-controlled country or some other situation, but it's not. Anyone who can provide any suggestions? Thanks!

I presume you are actually at war with Daras? check status on home page or war pages. Units do get stuck at borders though for some time, it can be a couple of hours, but I dont think you would get that message, its just for the units checking in their luggage or immigration or something ;)

Dont rely too much on the maps as they might show being over the border but is just the limit of the drawing of maps and units.

Yes, I am actually at war. The log shows the message I am telling you too.

The maps are off. Zoom out on daras and you will see the border you are attacking doesnt actually show as part of its land (the darker green). This could be causing the problem, in which case you would need to email the gamesmaster.

Only other thing, though I doubt it with the message you got, is the unit is out of fuel? Maybe check that before you email.

Hahah! found it!

The Republic of Bagram against The Grand State of Daras Declared, war starts Jan 03 2928

Its currently Jun 13 2927.

1 day to wait. Strange though, I thought C3 wars started immediately you declared.

That date message is in error. I noticed that with the C3 wars I fought a couple of weeks ago. I also noticed that the borders of the countries I invaded didn't line up 100% with the map display.

*sighs* OK, well, there's been no movement. I'll email the gamemasters. And as far as fuel, supply units have been out and come back several times.

check your black outs, they can stop movement. also, if the units are on the edge border, near a third country, that can block movement

but its a map glich. if you look at the map, you'll notice a white part, that when you hold you cursor over it, is says the defending country name. but when you click on the map of the country, that part is missing... i've noticed allot of stuff like this here and their.

my advise, review how to take over a C3 with an air force and special forces, you're boxed in... unless you can fed up with your neighbors, or get military access, you wont have any other way
