So..just out of curiosity, should I just dismantle my current forces, sell all my military gear, then start buying only high quality to slowly rebuild my forces?
I currently have the starting forces along with a load of new junk I bought without paying attention to QL, so the question stems from a desire to trim my military budget and get more 'bang for my buck' as it where ;)

That's definitely an option. If you time and price your sells correctly you can make a profit you can then put toward the purchase of the higher qual weapons.

I've reached War level 2 with the starting forces the game provided. :)

Yes, but John knew what he was doing.

I doubt anyone just starting would know how to use the minimal forces that beginners get to actually take a country. It takes a few tries before you work out the most effective way to do it. Beginners get so few weapons that they can't afford to make any mistakes. If they do ... and most of them DO ... they don't have enough weapons to win the war.

Hugs and respect

Jo
