I'm new on Golden Rainbow... My country name is "Constant State Of Confusion". When I got this country it had over 20 corps as well as several Private corps. I've gotten education, health, and transportation over 100%. Lowered Corporate taxes, raised salaries and welfare. My country is constantly profiting but for some reason my corporations keep losing value. Supply doesn't seem to be the issue. I've set hiring and production to 100% but I constantly get the message that production is low due to lack of workers. So, using GC I bought 2 million more population. I'm still getting the same messages from the corps but also now my unemployment is high... Any suggestions?

When purchasing population, you should check the education system and see if you have enough workers and professionals in all groups.
In the menu: Departments -> education -> Education priorities.
This is one of the most important pages in the game.
If there are enough workers and professionals, start new corporations.

Corporate market values fluctuate as a result of changing in pricing of products, shortages and surpluses on the market and the profitability of the corporations.
Long term, if your corporations are upgraded, salaries are good, produce products that are in short supply, they will make more profit and their value will increase.

Is it possible also that this country belonged to another player of a higher level? Some of the corporations that were there when I received the country were level 3 corps and the names of the towns had personalized names. If that's the case would there be a time when the country would need to adjust. Roads, rails, schools, hospitals and population were not appropriate for a level 3 or higher player so I assume were adjusted when the country went free. In which case a period of adjustment to rebuild the country would be appropriate. This is just a guess from me. My education levels are over 100% and I've raised my education priorities in the areas where needed. I'll make some more adjustments and see how it goes.
