Hi,

I have one problem in my new country. Defense costs are too high, they are more than all my income combined. I didn't buy any military stuff. Why is this and what is the best way to cut this down?

Also, I noticed the country has an insane amount of ammunition. 70% of total of my all assets is ammunition! I guess I should just sell most of it? Does it cost to maintain them?

Thanks

Ammo, no, doesnt cost to maintain.

If its your only country, sell all your defensive weapons, not ammo, they do cost to maintain and you have no need of them, your first country is un-attackable. Be sure to de-activate your offense (or put it a space center) until you want to use it to take your first C3 country by war.

That should help you significantly. Good luck.

Thanks! What steps do I need to take to be able to put stuff in a space center?

You will need to build a space center. But remember, there is a maintenance fee to keep weapons in space.

The same as keeping them de-activated right?

Thanks.

I have deactivated all my military and sold a lot of it. Still, number of soldiers and defense spending hardly changed. It just seems to be fluctuating randomly. Any explanation for that?
