So I am new, trying to build up my first country, got to level 2 and now working on getting to Game level 3 and it says I need to get my Defensive Force index to 90. So I keep buying new defensive weapons but the value number never changes.

What do I need to do/buy?

Couple of other questions. How many Corp's should i build on my own? Should I keep randomly building Corps of different types or just one type?

I build 3 since I started, they are all growing but now my Value of Corporations has gone down alot.

oh, buy defensive missile batteries. They really dont defend you at all, but your levels increase. As for corps, build corps for products in a shortage. Also, have a corp for every 750,000 people. Of course, only build when you have to. Change your corp profit transfer to 75 instead of 50, and change taxes from 30 to 5. That way, ceos build in your country.

Click on "game level" on your home page and see if you are in "peaceful" or "war" mode. If you put it in "peaceful" mode you don't need to buy any defensive weapons. Frankly,if you only have one country and it is in "secured" mode you never have to waste a penny on expensive, pointless defensive weapons. If you want to buy weapons, buy offensive weapons and go out and raid some C3"s and MAKE some money.

I figure i'll post in this thread rather than start a new one.

Q - I'm looking to increase my empire average population to reach lvl 3. I need about 2m population between two nations. I figured I can raid C3 and transfer high skilled workers for a higher number of low skilled workers. But that would require me to abandon my first conquered nation right? and if I did that my empire average would be high enough anyhow. I already spent my initial GC on population.

Are experienced players ever interested in trading low numbers of high tech execs for LLW?
