also i see 1 gold coin is somehow hard capped around 35 Billions SC$ and only admin can sell gold coins?

so basically trading SC$ gold coins is no longer (played some years ago when a gold coin was traded free and around 500-800 billions SC$)

i read around that economy is improved , aka you can make more SC$, but no longer trade the SC$ in to gold coins in seems :D

i think i get it
so you can't avoid paying real $ for any extra country/enterprise

i'm fine with this concept with only 1 problem : real $ gold coin cost should be lower now that gold coins can only be achieved with real $ (please don;t make me laugh with awards and game level gc's) but it isn't , it's the same price since years ago

Greetings, ac91dd69 looks like a forum troll, so dont mind.

Yes, you can only sell to the GM and don't buy with SC$ anymore, at least not directly.
You can buy stuff from your Worlds Market or build it in your country and sell on Space Stations for GCs.

The official reason for stopping GC Player-Player trade was that there were huge GC buy orders (some 1000 GCs each) from big players which couldn't be full filled so smaller orders from smaller players wouldn't be possibly successful. But that was when the GC price was capped to can only go downwards. So there were more and more orders but less and less supply as noone wanted to sell at those low prices.

The price of the GCs-buy orders from Andy lower frequently as general Prices of Products and so the total turnover is reduced.

Nowadays if you want to play more you have to pay more, even though the official statement at first was something like 'you won't need to pay more as we are working on a compensational gc income-source' namely Missions, well, never heard of them again ;)

thanks for answer borg queen

i checked the product for GC offers and if you convert product to SC$ price it's even lower than 36B / GC :D

game seems less active than few years ago even if free play a country is now possible

maybe experimenting with lower gc prices would encourage larger empires and more players, who knows
