1. How to make GCs:
- Buy them for real-life cash
- Be a premium member and get a higher Game level then you ever had before on a World
- Be in top lists of Ranking at the end of the month
- Leveling up your War-Levels
- sell population
- sell country
- sell enterprise
- sell stocks in 'Direct Trading'
- sell stuff on space stations

2. Benefits of Space Game:
- see above
- you can transfer stuff between worlds (some weapons can only be built on FB)

Transferring stuff between worlds can be almost magical. Some time ago on WG, Ammo Quality Upgrades was in shortage for an extended time. This caused decline in quality for some of my units. Most annoying. So I started buying AQU cheap on another world and shipped it to WG where I needed it. At the time, KB was having a surplus of AQU. The annoyance was no more.

Sometimes you can find ammo that you need in surplus and subsequently cheaper off world. The ability to transfer from world to world is quite nice.

How much game cash do you need to really get started with space trading? Do you need some specific corps in your Enterprise or Country to do it well?

Cheers.

You need to buy a space port for each game entity you want to use and GC for shuttles and SC Maintenance Units so your shuttles last longer.

what about producing your own shuttles... i have room for 10 corps or so that could be used to start a space industry... I'm not trying to spend GCs... i just need to make enough to sustain my enterprise.... for transferring products to other worlds I'm assuming you actually need to have a country on that world correct? its not possible to just establish a remote depot or space center somehow in an allies country?

First question:

Space shuttle production requires a fair number of money losing corps. It's an expensive production process, so if you are going to set it up, it would only makes sense to do so in order to either a) have a very large space fleet b) sell the shuttles for gold coins. Right now, I've got a stack of shuttles I can't move for .16 gold coins. I'm actually closing down most of my space industry because of the lack of demand and high cost to operate. Considering that you can set yourself up with a small fleet (about 7 shuttles)for a single gold coin, I would just do that if I were you. Each shuttle really lasts a long time anyway.

As for your second question, yes you would need a country or an enterprise on another world. Over time, you can make your cost back for this by leveling up on game levels and war levels.
