I forgot to cancel contracts, and my defensive fortifications went to 152.

Is the maximum other then what can be purchased (150) - ie. having them in reserve for when they are destroyed?

If this is over the maximum allowable, what's the solution? Cannot sell from products in stock. Should I destroy the overage or will that be automatically taken care of?

Over the max may be beneficial to you. Check the older forum threads re. this.

Aye. Unless I get banned for having them. That would be very unbeneficial.

Have checked the older posts. Still awaiting word if it is going to get me banned. On a related note, is there an actual upper limit determined by the size of your country on the map, or do the icons stack?

There is no limit to the number of forts you cn have. There are countries with thousands of forts. It's the GM way of "making the cost of war cheaper". whatever....

Thought I saw a post about how having 1000s of them would be considered an exploit, still trying to track that down. Just need another hour in the day.

If it is an exploit they should get ready to ban half the player base...

Was an old post. Think that would have already kicked in, if that was the case.

There will be no bans.
We are aware of the issue though and it is on our list for improvements to the war engine. If any kind of change is applied we'll make sure it has as little negative impact as possible on anyone affected.
