If you're looking for Oil companies to buy or would simply like to buy guaranteed profit makers (.5-1 bil a month per company) then you need to check out the country of
"Gallente Federation"
Right now, there are a few state owned oil companies for anyone who wants to have a money making corporation.
All you have to do is look up "Gallente Federation" and check out the oil companies that have "FOR SALE" in front of the name and look at the financial information and decide for yourself if its the right company for you to buy.
Employment is rarely a problem, so you can be sure that your company will be fully staffed and working at maximum capacity.
So just look up "Gallente Federation" and select any oil company for sale.

Here's an update
A state oil company called - "FOR SALE Oil 2"
pulls over 1 billion + a month consistently for the last 6 game months. As you can see - its for sale.
Last year, it pulled a 13 billion dollar profit total
Look at the financial information of that oil company and see for yourself if this company is for you and your portfolio.
I suggest you do this quickly, because it won't be long before someone else begins bidding on this money machine.
