I can't believe this foolishness is passing right now. How can a player who has been around as long as he has still need a handout from the security council when I have seen other newer players be denied.

Whenever I notice anybody request aid, I copy and paste their request into a security council proposal. I might write something like "forwarded message." I always pass it on, although sometimes I don't notice the message for a real week or so, so there can be a delay at times. On a couple of occasions I've noticed by the time I make a proposal for some presidents, they already renamed their country since they requested aid, and I think they've lost the vote both times.

I took it upon myself to handle these requests because I noticed several people requested aid on forum and nobody made any proposals. Sometimes people send me a private message and I'll copy that into a proposal. When the request is from a private message and the president renamed the country since sending the message, I'm not surprised if the proposal looks sketch. I'll pass it on anyway to watch it fail because that's what was asked of me anyway?? To make a proposal??? Sure there you go.

I figured that there's really not much else the security council seems to be there for other than making proposals, and specifically these requests for aid are the sort of proposals people are asking for. As a member of that security council thing, I guess I should listen to my fellow presidents pleas for aid; but I can't directly send aid, I just submit a proposal to be voted on. Although I am indifferent as to whether these proposals pass or not, I am sometimes interested to see whether or not they do.

It looks to me like aid can mean a lot to people, since they bring themselves to ask/demand it. I found it's not difficult to forward a request into a proposal, as it takes only seconds to handle that (copy/paste). So why not give the opportunity to our fellow presidents to pass their request onto a vote. I've noticed a lot of people seem unaware you can't receive more then 2T (hard limit) at a time however. Whenever anybody asks for 3 or 5 or whatever, I copy that along with the rest of the message, but again 2 is the hardcoded max. My seat will expire eventually though, so when that happens and I see requests/demands for aid, nothing I can do about that.

To summarize what I'm saying. . . I didn't volunteer to be on the security council, I was put there. It's too easy to submit the proposals, so I figured I might as well do it because I hadn't noticed anybody else doing it. Some pass, some fail. It happens.

In this case, I guess maybe the presidents want to pay off John Smith so he doesn't . . .destroy the world, right ??

Why's that remind me of an Austin powers movie.. ?. ?. . Hmmm. .. .. ..

I have been on the council as well and I have never felt an obligation to pass along every proposed request. I do vote in favor of every request from a new member, even if I think they shouldn't need it. Great Britain not new and Mr. Smith should know how to handle his economy without the need of assistance. This is even more true considering his war level is so low that one has to wonder where his money goes. Or rather, where is he spending the security council gift that was just passed on to him?

I see your logic Zentrino. I didn't say what I do is logical though, I just said why I do what I do. Unlike you however, I do pass along every request that comes along. If I don't. . who will ??

So that's right I guess it's up to me . .to let everybody's wish [for 2 trillion cash] be heard by the world !! and maybe have a chance to come true !?! Or not?? That part is up to the world. . haha

I mean why not, if sumbody (that is a president of a country of tens of millions of simites by the way), wants a vote, sure I let them have one, because I was, like you, given the ability to allow the people to be heard, and so I use that ability to allow their request/demands be heard ! !

It's not important to me that proposals pass or don't, I mostly find the results interesting. I don't write proposals, I just copy and paste them and see what happens.

I'd like to request 2T in Security council aid. The zombie infestation is really getting out of hand. The zombies are taking over and soon there will be none of us left alive. My people are hungry and we have no food.

Hahahaha that's the best reason I've seen. Unfortunately it didn't go through. It gave me this error message:

You cannot give Development Aid to a country
if the Net Cash exceeds 2 Trillion $E.

You should petition the Security Council to re-submit the proposal. According to the SC Bylaws, Section VI, Clause VI, Subsection VI: "In the case of a Zombie Apocalypse; If a countries National Treasury is overrun by the undead, the aforementioned Treasury shall be deemed to be in a state of debt."

Emergency Aid should consequently be approved and delivered expeditiously. Post-haste. Ad Infinitum. Ad nauseam.
