This is a measure for the productivity of a corporation. All corporation start with a productivity index of 100. If you upgrade the efficiency of the corporation, it will become more effective. Efficiency meant that it will make the same product quantity and quality but will use a smaller number of people. It will use more high tech services and more high tech executives. The workforce will however be reduced.
