UN isn't referred to the Useless Nations without just cause.

Its a bloated , corrupt, useless bureacracy. Yes, perhaps its social programs do some good now and then.

But as for being a peace keeping organization, its a joke.

Why should the UN be doing anything to help the Palestinians? It is and has been withing their power to remove Hamas from Gaza and the PALESTINIANS have failed to complete this task. They now reap what they have allowed Hamas to sow. There would be peace in the middle east today if the Arabs (meaning Hamas and Hezbollah) laid down their arms. Look at Egypt and Israel, maybe not a cordial relationship, but once Egypt stopped trying to attack Israel, Israel has not done a damn thing but become a really good trading partner. Israel proved its commitment to peace 3 years ago. The Palestinians had their chance for peace and freedom. Instead they allow Hamas to take over and to continually fire rockets into Israel. Enough is enough. Gaza and the Palestinians there had their chance.

I'm very pro-Israeli but I do know that the Palestinians have a legitimate beef with Israel. It goes back to post-WW2 when Great Britain partitioned the country to bring the Jews back. It forced a LOT of palestinians from their homes and into refugee camps.

I've only learned that much within the last couple of years. Americans, as a whole, are completely ignorant of what is going on there. We see what the news reporters show us. There's a lot more in the history.

You are partially correct, BorderC. There is no evidence of forced displacement of Palestineans from their homes. Many Palestineans evacuated immediately prior to the invasion of the neighboring Arab states in '48 and never returned.

Palestinean "beefs" arise justifiably from the conduct of the Israelis during the years since occupation.

There's been a lot of historical revisionism on both sides, so be careful of your sources when researching this subject.

BorderC, stop trying to make stuff up and learn to read. Not once did I say the Palestinians do not have legit beef with Israel. Hell, the US has a legit beef with Mexicos lopsided immigration policies and willful negligence in controlling the mutual border, but do you see the US lobbing missiles across the Rio Grande? The fact that Nix in particular has failed to condem Hamas and continues to spout his bullshit against Bush shows what a hypocrite he really is. Or maybe not a hypocrite but blind, unthinking, hateful person.

BOTH sides have legitimate grievance. In 2005, ISRAEL made the move that finally gave them the moral high ground by unilaterally removing troops and settlers from Gaza. The single biggest grievance of the Palestinians was that they wanted a self-governing homeland, just like the jews wanted the one they now have in Israel. At what point is enough enough? You talk about displaced Palestinians, the Israels talk about rockets being fired at them. The list goes on and on. BOTH sides have beefs. BOTH sides has problems. Israel finally said fine, enough is enough. We will forgive all you did to us, please forgive all we did to you and lets live in peace. They said that and backed it up with action.

Hamas just couldn't let it go. Still Israel sat there hoping that the prospect of having their own government at last would prompt the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank to suppress the extremist terrorists among them. But not, not only do they do nothing, they put these terrorist into power in Gaza. Now its time for those Palestinians to receive the just consequences of their failure to take responsibility for themselves. I say again, I feel sad for them, but I do not feel sorry for them. Not one bit and neither should you.

What Bull Shite? I heard Bush himself say that he was on a crusade.
So Arch. Say you invite me and my family to live in your house as I have no where else to go, then after a while I bring in my friends and their families, to the point where there is just not enough room for all of us to live there. So I throw you out to go and live in the shed, where I control every aspect of your life. The water, electric, food, medical supplies, visitors. Then when you demand your house back I lock the shed door and turn off the water and electric and stop supplies of food and medicine. Now that your children are cold, hungry and ill do you let them die or do you try and resist?

Remember, Israel supported Hamas to divide the Palestinians and weaken Fata. This gave the Palestinains 2 parties to voted for. Either a government that has bowed down to the occupation or one who will resist the occupation. Which one would you choose?
What's the difference between the Palestinian resistance to occupation and the French resistance to occupation?

You are a liar Nix. Israel did not support Hamas. Ever. I guess you have the same delusion as BorderC about Americans ignorance. I don't give a damn about your politics, but do not spout your politically driven lies and not expect to get called.

Your analogy is so flawed its ridiculous. Yes, many of things have happened. Yes, Israel has done some bad things. The Palestinians have done some bad things. The Arabs have done some bad things. The point is, would you rather everyone continue to do bad things, continue to hold grudges, or say you know what, yes, we are all worse off but instead of continuing fighting and continuing to lose on both sides, take the loses and instead start rebuilding. This worked pretty well when the Arabs and Israelis did so. Israel has offered that same chance to the Palestinians and that chance was rejected by the Palestinians.

As for BorderC, general ignorance by Americans does not mean all Americans are ignorant of what gone on in the Middle East. Again you failed to read or understand what I said. For one, I never claimed anything you said was false. Yes, Palestinians have had bad things happen to them because of the post WWII partitioning, but so did the jews. Since its formation, Israel has had all sort of problems because of the Palestinians and Arabs. The point you seemed to miss is that BOTH side have grievances. BOTH sides have hurt the other. The Israelis were finally willing to concede this, cut their loses, and try to live in peace with the Palestinians. As always, actions speak louder than words, and Israels actions in 2005 spoke very loud indeed. Instead of listening, however, Hamas decided it was actually more important to continue to attack Israel instead of trying to live in peace. The Palestinians have allowed this to happen.

Oh, and you have no need to defend yourself as my comparing disputes between US and Mexico to Israeli-Palestinian problems wasn't exactly aimed at you, sorry to burst your little ego bubble there BorderC. It was aimed at those who may read this to illustrate how civilized countries - USA, Mexico, and Israel - try to resolve disputes as opposed to Hamas, who feel the need to shoot rockets and kill people.

And finally, Nix, I certainly do expect Hamas to fight Israeli forces occupying Gaza. I never said they should not resist. I might think they are stupid to do so. I definitely think they are culpable for anything that the Israelis can do to them as THEY are the ones who have continued to fire rockets into Israel for no valid reason. The difference between French resistance and Hamas resistance is that the circumstances that resulted in the need for either resistance are completely different. Germany was wrong to invade France in WWII (which is what I think you refer). Israel is justified in its current occupation of Gaza. Also, Germany wanted to control and subjugate France, basically anexing it as more German territory. Israel does not want that with Gaza. They want to destroy the ability of Hamas to continue firing rockets. So, in a way, I guess I could condemn Hamas for its method of resistance. Assuming the goal of that resistance is to get the Israelis to leave and not come back, then they are pretty stupid. The simplest way to get the Israelis to leave and not come back is NOT FIRE ROCKETS AT ISRAEL. So simple a caveman could do it.

Thats ok BorderC. I am not writing for you but for those who might read your misrepresentations and mischaracterizations and take them as gospel. Its really not that hard for most people to read and understand what I have written. I guess that just makes you an idiot.

And oh, that's right Nix. All of Israeli territory is occupied land. Sorry, I forgot that your intellectual negligence in pursuit of your politics knows no bounds.

For those reading, basically Nix says that any territory Israel currently controls is occupied territory. Not true, but, again, so what.

The UN (remember your favorite US hating world agency there Nix?) has recognized specific territory as Israel. You don't agree. That's fine, you don't have to. But IT DOESN'T MATTER! The point that you willfully fail to acknowledge is that if Israel were allowed to live in peace within that UN recognized territory and the Palestinians were allowed to live in Gaza and the West Bank, there would be no conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in the middle east! The other point you willfully fail to acknowledge is that Israel has tried to do just that, live peacefully on that aforementioned UN recognized territory. By both words and deeds they have shown their desire for peace. I do not know or care if this solution is fair or just and again, it no longer matters. There has been so much death and violence and loss that it doesn't matter any more what is a fair or just solution. It doesn't matter what or who started the fight. It doesn't matter who did what to whom. There is a solution to the situation and one side will not accept it, the Palestinians. It is painfully obvious that Hamas and the Palestinians in Gaza are lying. They say the want peace. They say they want Israel out of Gaza and yet they will not take the one single step that will accomplish this stated goal, NOT SHOOTING ROCKETS AT ISRAEL.

When someone states they want to achieve a goal, but then fails to take the action that will result in achieving that goal, they must be lying. Ergo, the Palestinians and Hamas are lying. Israel has backed its words with deeds. Until 2005, that was not always true. By matching words with deeds Israel has finally become righteous.

Ok, what territories then? Specifically what one that the Palestinians claim as theirs that Israel, until a few days ago, occupied? Gaza? The West Bank? Tell me. Israel occupies neither, or didn't until just recently. Again, TO STOP ROCKET ATTACKS. Apparently you keep missing that little tidbit. The Palestinian resistance wants Israel to leave Gaza. Ok, I have a sure fire plan for them to succeed. STOP FIRING ROCKETS. I have a sure fire plan to keep Israel forces from ever again entering Gaza or the West Bank. STOP ATTACKING ISRAEL. Its amazing how doing something as simple as well, doing nothing, can achieve so much. And yet, Nix thinks this is a bad idea. The Palestinians are to stupid to do, well, nothing. It is mind boggling.

And yes FB, I have seen that thread. The apologist there is to stupid to even acknowledge that Gaza has both a border with Egypt and actual sea ports. Why bother.

Well, seeing as the UN was essentially a US creation and can't really do anything major that the US doesn't want it to, I am not sure why we wouldn't want to fund it.

The US is not so much the "Sword of the UN" as the UN is the "Diplomatic Shield of the US". It gives the US the diplomatic cover it needs to do whatever it wants, in exchange for what is essentially loose pocket change.

We spend a whole lot more on things that are a whole lot less effective...the UN is a bargain.

A jew three times a day prays that in their life time they will pray in their Temple. For 3-4 thousand years they have done this pray. Why?? For without the Temple they do not feel that they are Jewish. Its their only goal in life and they are on the verge of making it come true in their life time regardless of the consequences.

To them the dead children of Palestine are blood sacrifices as was the children of Baghdad. We enlightened ones, who were meant to lead humanity into the new age of awakening are being compromised by a people who need to go back 4000 years. Back to a day of blood sacrifices and leaders who are only book keepers. They are going to take the whole world with them...hence why we now have ISIS. For to defeat your enemy you need to be on the same page as your enemy.

I just hope us enlightened ones can stop the world being led by fire, selfishness and hate through our Lord Jesus Christ. For until man has bowed in pray to the Lamb he will not return to save us. He came with love last time to give strength to his soldiers on Earth to defeat Evil. But that Love was used to control, persecute, abuse and kill.

Once man has removed those who use and control Gods power and again let Gods Love touch all of us regardless of belief. he will return in the form of the holy spirit to all who did his work and saved his creation. And they will become Angles to stand guard over Gods creation till the end of time its self.

I wrote a poem :)

NOT ON MY WATCH

How can they kill innocence in the name of their peace, when their peace has been built on the blood of the innocence.
They talk of their rights as the chosen people of God while cutting down children to get their hands on some sod.
They tell us our place as their servants on Earth, Yet it goes over your heads like a wave in the surf.
So you play your part in their oppression through ignorance, even though if you look you will see all the evidence.
But are you to blame for the part that you play, even though in law your as guilty as day.
For if you don't stop the wrong in all that you see, in the words of the righteous you will never be free.
At the end of the day, its your soul on the line. It is your choice to say that everything is just fine.
And though you will know what you know to be true, with doing nothing at all your sun will turn blue.
You will loose what it means to have good on your side. And when judgement day comes you'll run and you'll hide.
You will beg for mercy saying I didn't know, but deep in your heart you know you help sow.
Those seeds of destruction for your children and theirs, but still you'll make excuses like no one else cared.
But that will not help you when your judgement day comes. You will feel the pain of those murdered by scum.
So do yourself a favour and look all around, then do what you can and all will be sound.
For we are the guardians of the future to be. And it is up to us to make sure that they will be free.
(If any one was wondering what sod is, its soil) ~ Nxxxxxxs Sxxxxxr

I thought the British promised Palestine a state of its own, which included present day Israel then decided to carve Israel out of some of it after the holocaust. The European jews proceeded to move in to the formerly Palestinian areas. The way the middle east is divided doesn't make sense anyway, based on religious and ethnic boundaries. People fight and kill each other, its what they're great at. If not over some insignificantly small piece of land or an ideology, it'll be for something else.

The whole problem is the Zionist. For if they had not gone on a holy war then the Jews, Christians and Palestinians would have been given the time to become one family as it was in the beginning. The UK brokered a agreement with the Muslims that over time a trickle of Jews would arrive in Israel and assimilate themselves into the land. Unfortunately the Zionists with American illegal support flooded Israel with Zionists and Jews. And when the UK tried to stop it....the Zionists attacked UK forces and started a gorilla war with the UK which lead to the UK's withdrawal from the situations. It could have worked if that did not happen. The Jews are kind loving people who respect others and really just want to get on with life. But the Zionists are like ISIS and Hitler....pure extreme. It is them who has caused this 3rd world war. S-O-B's

First of all, Hamas is no where near as extreme as ISIS, or the Taliban. Iran may be Shiite however they are more prone to support Hamas. Hamas in Gaza and the PLO in the West Bank don't agree most of the time either, the later being more secular than Hamas. The Taliban is Sunni, therefor they opposed Iran and would consider Hezbollah to be their own enemies. Hezbollah is known to be more professional and modern in their views than say, Al-Queda. Then there are the Kurds, mainly Sunni, but they are not going to be happy seeing their ground being lost to a Sunni ISIS incursion.

So what did that all mean? It's a huge mixed bag to just say "Muslims destroy, Israel is sweet and innocent because they are first world". I call bullshit. You want to see destruction? Look at the rubble behind the pictures of Palestinian children throwing rocks at massive Israeli Merkava tanks crushing their homes. (Those tanks are also know to be very considerate of the safety of their passengers, even more than the US. I doubt they share the same consideration to children). I will remind you also, that when you see Palestinian children bleeding in the streets have you considered or remembered that they are also Christians? Does that change things up a little for you?
I wonder how many Israelis are disgusted by their own gov't actions as much as Americans are disgusted by our own. I know the US has always played charity to the rest of the world while our cities crumble and jobs are sent overseas while we see the largest gap in wealth in US history. So wake up world, the free ride is over. The American tax payer is broke, and I don't think our wealthy politicians are going to keep flipping the bill for buying more explosive toys to test on third world recipients.

I just opened up a can of reality whoop ass, I know. Your welcome.

(Pending American Isolationist because I'm tired of it all..)

Bro the Zionists are self fulling the prophecies in their live time as all Jews pray for. They are creating the conditions to co-inside with the celestial activity that was predicted as the universe in our history works like clock work. And in this clock work the Zionists have less than a year to build their temple. check out the third temple on utube and you will see what is going on.

And as you mentioned the Christians...do you know why they are not getting involved yet? Its because the church of the holy sepulchre is not yet under threat. If ISIS goes any where near it....I hope that all the wealth the church has been gathering and spending its time protecting instead of looking after its flock....will be enough to feed the crusaders. Thats if the church gives up their wealth to feed the crusaders? They might be so consumed by now with protecting their power which is wealth and not dead, that they might just run off with it all LOL

Sorry if I don't laugh I will cry. As Christians we are mean't to jump into the middle of things and work out peace. Instead we believe in the Rapture.....the biggest lie the devil ever did tell.....he said that so we would not jump into the middle of his war with God. And why? Because he knows we have the spirit of the Lord and we would kick his ass.

Nix,

You are an idiot and an anti-Semite.
We all know it by now and from previous rounds when you made this clear.
You must have many reasons. Did you get it at home from your parents? Mostly, anti Semites are low IQ imbeciles.

Israel is doing everything possible to prevent civilian casualties.
Ever heard of an army calling people to tell them that they might be hurt and asks them to leave the area, sending SMS messages and spreading leaflets? Then knocking on the root with a mini missile?
They even call the families of their commanders, allowing them to save their own lives, as they are not interested in killing Palestinians.

Hamas is shooting missiles, for 14 years.
They aim the all the cities in Israel with one aim: To kill people.
They hide behind civilians and prevent them from leaving as they need a human shield.

Hamas only chance to win support is by having many dead Palestinians.
They have no respect for human life.

Now, for the first time, the Arab world, except for the nice guys in Syria and Iran, calls them terrorists.

Nix our little idiot,

You probably have even more reasons to hate the Israelis and the Jews.

They developed the iron dome system, the only system that makes it possible to intercept these missiles and a new laser based system is nearly finished. They use it to protect their children. Tough for you, I can imagine.

They are also responsible for more patents every year than entire western Europe and more than India and Chine together.

Many of the medicines you purchases were developed in Israel, along with many Intel processors on the computer you use to publish your nonsense. Turn it off now, it is based on Israeli development at Intel Israel where there are 7000 engineers working on the next one as we speak.

You friends in the Gaza strip, are specialized in killing, amputating, beating and raping anything that moves.
They are a cruel bunch that keeps millions under siege for many years in the name of Allah in a twisted interpretation of Islam.

@Shooter

Do you have any idea what Israel is targeting?

They are very clear about it.

They want to find and destroy tunnels that Hamas dug to enter Israel underground. One such tunnel was intercepted yesterday when 13 terrorists came out of it in Israel and were intercepted.

These tunnels start within 1 mile from the border and they are in that area, finding them and blowing them up. There is a lot of military material and missiles in the tunnels.

Also, they want to stop the missile shooting into Israel. For that, they will have to go into dense area where there are many civilians. This where they shoot missiles from. It will be more complex.

for now they did not enter cities and dense areas to prevent civilian casualties.
They asked again, also "knocking on roofs" and many more people are leaving the area.

These are the two declared objectives.

They also very clearly say they want the Hamas to survive this.
Otherwise, there will be chaos and these many movements in Gaza, all armed, will fight between themselves, killing thousands of civilians and open the door for even more extreme Islamic movements like Isis.

Egypt wants the Hamas dead and the area falling into the hands of the PLO - Abbas.
The Israelis don't believe he can handle it and he is hated there.

There we go again.....A complete denial of Zionist actions which have caused this re-action. Stop building settlements and remove all illegal settlements...stop undermining the Dome of the Rock and the sanctity of Jerusalem and then if Hamas fires at the Zionists then, the World will have sympathy. Until those demands that the world ask are met then the Zionists are the ones in the wrong.....
LOL patents. All these patents have been stolen from humanity so don't give me that.

Shooter until people like u put your brains into gear and remove the blinkers there will always be a place for the Demons. Get a grip.

Don't get me wrong. I understand Islam is a threat to the world due to the movement of peoples around the world. In the Koran it states that a Muslim is not a Muslim if they do not live under Shari Law. This is causing many problems for the worlds Muslims who live not under Shari Law. For they become impelled to change the society they live under to one of Shari law. But many Muslims in these non Islamic countries are becoming enlightened to the true meaning of Life like the Jew had become when they lived in others lands. But they have now been called to holy war against the Zionist and they too have gone back to the dark side. This is why I am so pissed off with the Zionists for they are forcing the hand of time. And all that does is change the out come of how it is meant to be.

I am sorry if I have offended you...But I am at war.

My mission......to get in the middle and point out that their war is distracting the people of the Earth in their responsibility's to protect Mother Nature. Everyone is so caught up in their own bull s#@t that they do not even think about about her anymore...let alone protect her.

I have learnt over my years of battle to know thy enemy's before jumping into the middle of their fights...which means unless U search deeper into your soul than you have gone before U will never be able to tell me something that I do not already know.

Well, considering the historic Experience of the Holy Land under Arab control, I believe my statement remains as is, Khome. As for the destruction, we might never know how Hamas will react if they ever hold Jerusalem (hoping never). They are known for using violence.

Violence to counter violence, in a war started by Palestine and its neighbours.

Started by Palestine? If you got back far enough, in the bible, the old testament. The Israelite forced the Philistines from the promised land through brutal wars. They started it back then. And the Zionists are doing the same now. Israel has started it.
Also, i hear today white phosphorus gas was used by Israel in Gaza. Its just getting worse and worse.

Why go back so much? In contemporary history, the conflict was started in 1948 by the Palestinians... Its like saying the Slavs started the conflict that lead up to WWI and WWII by settling in Eastern Europe and hindering German Eastern Expansion in the early Middle Ages... The Arabs didn't agree to the partition, which was very generous for the Palestinians... so they attacked the Jews in the Levant... Result? An Israeli Victory.
But this argument is toxic, we disagree, its fine. Yes I read about usage of illegal weaponry too, hope they stop it for their (Israel's) sake, else the world will have to truly do something about them.
Not every Jew is a Zionist, they are a minority, an extremist minority, and like all extremists, they are wrong. Most Israeli Jews though, want peace. What would we expect from a Nationalist Israeli Majority Party? When Netanyahu leaves office, MAYBE they will take a softer stance against Hamas, so long as they stop attacking as usual...

whoa, ok I need to stop you there. As soon as you said 1948 there cannot be anymore said. Up to 1948 in contemporary history Palestine was Palestine. Israel was invented in contemporary history by UN arbitration. That would be like saying Iraq's current boarders have more historical significance just because they were made up by the west after WWI. So you can cherry pick any spot in a 2000 year time line and you will come to the same conclusion. You sound ridiculous now. I feel sorrow for the 30+ Israeli soldiers who died however I feel as much sympathy for the hundreds of Palestinian children mangled in the streets. I DON'T care if you think Hamas is using them for human shields. Any common police officer who shoots through a child to get a crook will be held on murder charges in any first world nation. (Israel is a first world nation so they get to play by our rules).
Enough of your explanations, they are repulsive and yes, your a blind zionist zealot.

p.s. I'm more pro Israeli than you because of their original and contemporary tradition of being a socialist state as originally intended, so get over yourself.

History served, piping hot.

A* Khome. Aussi is typical of those blinded by the influence of the Zionist in our society. We can't really blame him due to the Zionists positioning themselves into the Elite of our societies and only allowing the main stream to let us see what the Zionists want us to see. But with realists like U Knome soon the blinkers will be removed and people like Aussi will see the light. Peace Friend.

LOL for seven days now I with many others have been fighting the Zionists and their sympathizers where we could find the on the internet. They are on the run. Only explanation for their lack of commitment to the argument is that they know deep in their hearts they are wrong and they know there is nothing they can say that will change that.

Soon the Jew will up-rise against the Zionist and it is imperative that we all understand the difference between the two and give the Jews our full support in riding their people from such a abomination of existence.

Long live the Jew.
End of Days to the Zionist.
