It is the beginning of the year and as usual I have already marked my appointment with my dentist for one of my two annual check-ups.

Such check-ups are important because they can detect and fix small problems like cavities, tooth decay, gum disease and even oral cancer, among other dental and oral problems.

If you would like some further incentive, please click here:

So, I would just like to remind everyone to pay the dentist a visit for your own health.

Oh, and don't forget to brush and floss everyday! :O

Thanks for the PSA LG! Makes sense to do it after the holidays I suppose, all the sugar and heavy drinking that enables us to put up with our family members.

I appreciate Laguna reminding me that I have a toothache. I am laid off and my insurance won't pick up the bill until I am recalled to work.

Hello Orajel. That stuff tastes nasty. But it works.

I had a filling put in yesterday :(

Has anyone ever had a tooth pulled at the dentist?
It's so weird, the doods swinging around on your tooth but you can't feel anything.

Kids, listen to JR. Twice a days even better :)
Oh yea, don't smoke.

I used to have my cleaned and check every 3 months when on a director's salary. Now, I'm hoping my health service will find me somewhere and just do the best they can. On the other hand, I keep mine well....... and I SMOKE and DRINK plenty!

Electric toothbrush and good mouthwash will do you good! lol

Floss! Make it such a habit that it feels revolting not to and you wonder how you could ever have gone a day let alone a decade without doing so.
