In responce to Sams thread 'Freedom of speech'.

Sam. Your thread is about freedom of speech. Yet your subject matter is showing one side of Islam with no attempt to show the other side.
I'm sure that if I knew more about you, I could make a short film that only showed the bad side to you. And knowing what I do know about you, you would do everything in your power to stop me from showing my film. And if you could'nt, I'm sure you would make your own film that showed your good side.

Now, I'm no saint, so why should I feel the need to fight for the people who believe in God?
Well, I don't. What I do feel the need to fight for is the truth.

First there was Hinduisum, then Judaisum, then Buddhisum, then Christianity and finaly Islam.
To me this means that Gods last words where spoken to man through Islam. Meaning that Islam has more of a reason, compaired to all the other religions, to feel like they are the true word of God.
Now if you are a unbeliever, they will not befriend you. Why would you want to be friends with your enemy?

If you believe in the word of God through the text's of Christianity, Buddhisum and Judasium, Islam respects that but urges them to accept the new installment to the texts of God (Islam) as the new wishes of God. And until they do so they will never truely be people of God.

If you attack the final word of God, then you have proven to be the bad man, thus you deserve to die.

This means that unlike the other religions, Islam, like Sikhisum has enemies, which keeps them in this narrow minded understanding of Gods wishes. The Bible also has passages calling upon the believers to rise up and destroy the bad man, but due to Jesus's message of forgivness, the bad man has always got away with being bad. This is where the koran is different, for it also calls upon the believers to rise up against the bad man, but Mohamid's message is one of not letting the bad man get away with it.

Christianity: Gods way of showing that sometimes you should forgive.
Islam: Gods way of showing that sometimes you should not forgive.

God probably saw that with the good man forgiving the bad man all the time, the bad man did'nt learn any lessons. So he decided that sometimes the good man would have to fight the bad man and to show the good man how to do this he gave us Mohamid.

You can't blame them for what they are doing, for they are just doing what God tells them to do. And due to the rise of the bad man in the world, their will is becoming stronger.

Now, what God needs to do now is either reafirm the act of forgivness by giving us Jesus. Or give us another profit to show us when we should forgive and when we should not forgive.
For this would mean that Islam would no longer be the last insallment to the path of righteousness. Thus creating a greater understanding of who is the bad man and how to deal with the bad man.
Until that day, stay away from the bad man, respect the good man and pray for the righteous man.

Oh yea. We wonder why they hate the West. From what I can gather the Muslims did'nt concider the Crusaders to be Christians. They concidered them to be Westerners. Meaning, everytime a Western force steps foot in a Muslim land it's concidered to be an continuation of the Crusades.
Also, by the accounts of the Crusaders, due to starvation, they ate Muslim children.
This is what is being taught to the children of Islam. The same as the Holocust is and will always be taught to the children of the world.

'The Book of Mormon is the earliest of the defining publications of the Latter Day Saint movement. The churches of the movement typically regard the Book of Mormon not only as scripture, but as a historical record of God's dealings with the ancient inhabitants of the Americas, written by American prophets from perhaps as early as 2500 B.C. to about 400 A.D.'

'Stated on the title page, the Book of Mormon's central purpose is for the "convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations."'
Mormon is'nt really a new religion.
And as Islam does not believe that Jesus is God, they concider the book of Mormon to be a re-writing of the past.

And as for Rastafarians.......
Rasta Doctrine: Early in the history of the movement, leonard Howell gave the Rastafarians six principles.
1) Hatred for the white race.
2) The complete superiority of the black race.
3) Revenge on whites for their wickedness.
4) The negation, persecution and humiliation of the government and legal bodies of Jamaica.
5) Preperation to go back to Africa.
6) Acknowledging Emperor Haite Selassis as the supreme being and only ruler of black people.

Babylon is Jamaica or the establishment.
I and I refers to God in all or brotherhood of mankind.

Hence why Islam has no time for Rastas and does not concider Rastafarianisum as a true religion from God.

The Cure

Muhammad, a wealthy merchant from Mecca, was bored and annoyed at the same time with pointless bickering between the Jews and the followers of the Jew reject that afternoon. Not that it was for the first time he was witnessing a heated debate, involving words which were dead for many years, on the streets of Jerusalem, but this time something what he felt to be located between his stomach and lungs was nagging him stronger than usual. He thought: "Maybe none of these fools have a clue and besides why we, the descendants of Shem, shouldn't have our own faith to adore? There's something rotten in the state of Rome, but I will find the cure."

Pondering deeply, Muhammad was distracted by noise of a breaking amphora, and when he noticed a splash of wine on his new shoes he just exchanged with Phoenician smuggler for one of his favorite slaves, he swiftly grabbed his whip unleashing its power on backs of Negros closest to him.. "Nubian Gesindel!" he uttered "How dare you disturb my circles?!?" The caravan was loaded quickly and without further incidents departed from the city of fools.

Meditating in saddle of his albino camel, with starry skies above, golden sand bellow and with a vision of hefty profit, the discomfort Muhammad felt earlier disappeared, and he could fully concentrate on his new and exciting idea, and even if only now he realized how difficult task he set for himself, he was confident to succeed. Little did he know that his destiny was about to give him a helping hand.

The caravan was only 3 days away from Mecca when a vicious sand storm darkened the skies. There was no place to hide and there was no where to run. Millions of tiny worthless nuggets blinded everyone in no time, and because the lazy and incompetent Nubian Gesindel forgot to tie the caravan with ropes, when Muhammad opened his eyes he saw no one, but albino and one camel loaded with goods. Shouting had no effect, his whip was useless and singing "Country roads, Take me home.." was not helping either so Muhammad, who was well educated in many sciences, decided to find his way to Mecca by himself. Perhaps he was missing in class when star navigation was taught or perhaps he did not remember it all that well, nevertheless, he soon was moving in circles without even noticing it.

After a week of circling in the desert Muhammad was desperate. He had not eaten for several days now, ran out of water few days ago already and talking to two stupid camels, who didn't even like each other as one was albino and the other was a male too, was not all that much fun either. Losing his hopes he decided to enjoy the last moments of his worldly existence and opened one amphora full of delicious vintage. Sitting down, drinking wine, Muhammad could care less about finding the cure and felt, even if not spiritually per se, certainly highly spirited. Convinced yet again to find his way home he got up, and with little difficulties managed to climbed his albino. "If there is a God, he will guide me out of this misery!" he cried to the skies and seconds later he was unconscious.

When he woke up, Muhammad noticed three things. The first was intense headache, the second was painful thirst and the third was incredible heat. He looked around in an attempt to remind himself of previous events, but he saw a sea of sand everywhere. No stupid camels, no Nubian Gesindel, no Jews and Jew rejects, only the amphoras were scattered everywhere around him. He looked at the horizon, but could not believe his eyes.. there she was, the fairy shape shifting half-sister of King Arthur, naked. Still feeling drowsy he closed his eyes again in disbelief it was only an optical illusion fooling his senses, but when he opened them again, he was in awe. It was not Fata Morgana it was Angel Gabriel himself, and before Muhammad could use his trained brain to reason any of it, Angel Gabriel sat down next to him and said:"You are the prised one Muhammad, you are the prophet and the messenger, and I'm here to give you the cure." Together they spent many days and nights drinking wine, meditating, cuddling to each other, until one day Angel Gabriel said:"You are ready now Muhammad, go to your people and spread the message because Allah has ordered us to glorify the truth." Then he showed Muhammad direction to Mecca and disappeared as mysteriously as he came.

Muhammad reached Mecca safely few days later and immediately called for everyone to gather in market square. "Listen to me my fellow brothers and sisters, heed my words! I'm Muhammad, the prised one, and I have found the cure. No drinking allowed!"

God spoke to me today. He said "Vali my son, go forth and destroy the wicked, and spread my light in this world once more." I replied "how am I to know the wicked from the good". God smiled and said "you are the founder of a new religion, do as you please."
So with Gods command to spread the word and destroy the wicked I have given you poor souls the first chance to repent.

Tell that to most fundamentalist Christians and they'll say they could prefer to get back to the original word of God, taking the Bible literally (conveniently forgetting that Christianity grew out of Judaism so, fundamentally, we should all become Orthodox Jews, or as your list suggests Hindus).

Sadly, there seems little in the way of quality control when it comes to deciding which nut... I mean, philosophical pontificator, counts as a prophet from God. Most religions die out before reaching the critical mass of adherents that allows them to gain enough followers from brainwashing... err, I mean, educating their offspring in the ways of their particular delusion... err, Religion.

Who decides which prophet is the most up-to-date spokesperson for God? Generally, the most susceptible people who are persuaded that that bloke, Dave, who stands on the corner shouting "The end of the World is nigh - REPENT" is deeply profound and ALL right-thinking people should wear sandals with socks. Like I said, no quality control at all. This, by the way, is more or less how the Jehovah's witnesses got going in the late 18th Century. They predicted the end of the world in 1914, then 1925, then when that didn't happen, 1975. I think they have since learnt the prudence of being a bit vague on the coming Armageddon, unlike Jesus, who confidently predicted that His return would be at some point during the lifetime of His disciples.

As a profoundly non-religious individual, I shall provide you with an example of my own profundity whilst simultaneously addressing the argument that the non-religious have no basis for their morals (an accusation that never ceases to piss me off).

If a Jehovah's Witness, Pastafarian or any other brand of evangelical approached me trying to convince me that theirs was the correct Religion, I would have to make a moral choice whether to agree with them. I might be encouraged to join a faith that believed in polygamy, or slavery (which early Christianity had no problem with). Some faiths believe in allowing abortion, others condemn it absolutely. Most people would agree that these are moral issues. For me to choose a particular faith over another therefore REQUIRES me to make a moral choice. Therefore morality is a separate issue from religion. Moral atheists can and DO exist. Just like immoral theists can and DO exist (paedophile priests, etc.).

Lets form our own religion. We can tell people that if they don't worship US, an invisible, all powerful, all knowing guy (who's up in the sky) will smite you with his wrath. Then we will sit them in church and spoon feed them a bunch of BS so they can't stop and think about what we're actually saying.
Don't worry if a few get smart..we'll just start a holy war with another religion..that should divert their attention.
Sounds like a plan.

If the earlier religions were correct, shouldn't we be pagans or shamans. And why did the Romans give up their polytheistic religion, to worship someone they supposedly executed. And if the newer religions are correct shouldn't we all go off to join the newest cult?

Or maybe religion is a way to gain power over a population with no rational thought. Even as a 7 year old semi-indoctrinated Baptist, they couldn't answer my questions. Like how did God make everything, or why does God kill people when we are not allowed to kill, or why does god think the earth is flat. All they ever did was the never question authority speech (this would have been popular with the dictators of the time).
Religion is cultural nationalism, it helps strengthen bonds between primitive people that may fight each other over completely pointless reasons (maybe a good tool to use if you control an empire with a diverse population), but it just shifts the goalposts to religion, so you see fellow countrymen killing each other over who their invisible friend loves them more. At the same time possibly allowing incompetent people to reap the benefits of this power sink. Kind of sad to see that in the "richest country in the world" that fought so hard against feudalism, can basically elect a king that claims divine right. (Face it George wouldn't have stood a chance in the election without the Christian vote).

A religion is a set of stories, symbols, beliefs and practices, often with a supernatural quality, that give meaning to the practitioner's experiences of life through reference to an ultimate power or reality.[citation needed] It may be expressed through prayer, ritual, meditation, music and art, among other things. It may focus on specific supernatural, metaphysical, and moral claims about reality (the cosmos, and human nature) which may yield a set of religious laws, ethics, and a particular lifestyle. Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and religious experience.

My views on religionâs importance and importance in 21st century: first Iâll let you know I am an atheist. I was raised a Apostolic Lutheran but my life experiences ha led me to believe that it, and all other religions are devices used by leaders to control masses or make $. Either that or look at it as a service provided. They are proving you with moral guidelines to run your life, keeping you in good standing in the publics eye, and giving you a false belief that your life is part of something greater.

I also think religion should be looked on as a service.
If only we could get rid of the word God and replace it with the words: The Good person.
Then there would be no reason for people not to embrace the word of Good as a way of life.
Unless, of course, man needs the fear of God in him to be Good.

"They are proving you with moral guidelines to run your life"

Deuteronomy anyone? When morals are enforced on people they don't understand morality and why they should be good, its consequences that keep them in line. Which helps understand why a lot of religious people wonder how you can have any morality without god threatening you.

I'm just cherry picking I know. But weigh up all the good religion has caused against all the bad, and this "service" has a lot to answer for. Religion is no more a service then clairvoyants and "new age" medicine. Supporters will swear they work, but from an skeptical viewpoint they're no different then a sugar pill.

I've been looking into Scientology over the past couple of days and I think, unfortunatly, Scientology is a re-creation of the Church of Christ. Hubbard is and does not proclaim to be a prophet from God. But what he does claim to be is the creator of true understanding of what it means to be alive.
Also that all man has good in them. But I'm sure that was also the message of Christ.

[snip]

What is Sharia law?

Under Sharia Islamic law, making money from money, such as charging interest, is usury and therefore not permitted.

[snip]

How does Islamic finance work?

The overarching principle of Islamic finance is that all forms of interest are forbidden.

The Islamic financial model works on the basis of risk sharing.

The customer and the bank share the risk of any investment on agreed terms, and divide any profits between them.

[snip]

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/3548656.stm

-------

In an Islamic monetary system, money itself has no value. 'Islam denies the conventional
mentality that out of every dollar a new dollar has to be created', says Shariah scholar Dr. Imran.

This means, that capital can only increase in value in value if a financial vehicle's underlying asset increases in value. Since interest is forbidden under Islamic law, money can not add value to itself.

Ok....Not this morning :)
I'm tired :( They should introduce some kind of alarm for when your being attacked. Maybe, if your computers switched off and you are already at war they could sent us a text message to our mobiles warning us of the attack?
Sorry Zdenek. I just had to get that in :)
Thats an interesting subject you have there. I was thinking about the difference between the worth of gold and money the other day.
Unfortunatly Bobo's on and I need to keep track of what he's doing before he walks away with my empire.

Ok the way i understand this suicide bomb thing is this..

If an Islamic Blows himself up with a bomb and kills infidels with hisself..

He will be rewarded with 70 eternal Virgins in paradise.

Now my own personal thoughts on this are;
they are Eternal Virgins meaning :

(A) they are not putting out.

(B) the equipment to make them NON virgins is broken or missing.

Therefore, whats the point of doing it don't they think the meaning thru.

Dear Dr.,

Could you please explain to me why a Muslim man is permitted to marry up till four women? While Muslim women are not given the same right?

I can't see what good allowing men have more than one wife can bring to the society.

However I mean no offense to your noble religion, I just feel puzzled whenever this issue is raised at any gathering.

Jessica from Chicago
---

Dear Jessica

I can see that my dear readers have become interested in a variety of topics far from politics.

Polygamy in Islam is a rich subject that needs to be covered in more than one session. But let me give you a simple fact about our world that will help clarify the matter for you. But first I want to assure you that when Islam allowed men have up till four spouses it didn't give this license without conditions, it limited it to certain circumstances and under certain conditions so that to ensure that nothing damaging affects the society.

Islam for instance set conditions for polygamy,

Let's see what the noble Qur'an says in regards to this point:

"If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice."- Qur'an (4:3)

And because Islam is a religion for all times it granted respect for women's rights and set as a condition for polygamy that a man is able to deal justly with his wife (which is not an easy condition).

"It is very difficult to be just and fair between women." Qur'an (4:129)

So Islam permitted polygamy but very highly discouraged it.

Contrary to the widespread misconception about Islam's polygamy, allowing men to marry more than one wife wasn't for males' sexual privileges and desires, but to ensure certain social order, including protection for the orphans and widows and preventing sins such as illegal sex and prostitution.

And what a lot of people don't know is that Islam actually came to limit polygyny. Before Islam, there was no upper limit for polygyny and men had up till hundreds of wives.

Sheikha Sajida
On behalf of Dr. Kareem

i want to ask jessica why an american man can have more than one but cant marry legally more than one woman. he is allowed to have illegal relationship with lot of women but cant marry them legally? - user

I know the Koran also has alot of environmental respect.
But do you think God creates complacency?
I mean, can those who believe in God fully understand their responsability for safe-gaurding the environment from destruction, due to their thinking that God will never let his own creation be destroyed?
Or due to them believing that life has to be destroyed so that the resurrection can begin, meaning they are willing on the destruction of life and don't care about the environment?

Maybe the people of God are killing God's creation (Mother Nature) due to their complacency about their own existance?

If so..............Does Mother Nature stand a chance?

I wouldn't worry about .. mother nature. Mother nature survived such things as whole planet on fire, whole planet under ice, or whole planet under water.

IF I would worry about anything I would worry about us, about humans.

I would worry about our quality of life and our health, about what kind of heritage we leave for generations of our own kin to come, about our own impact on ourselves.

Looking at those who believe in God, or those who subscribe to a religious faith in "something", as some crazy and irrational fanatics who cannot comprehend basic principles of laws of nature, who cannot recognize and foresee what is potentially dangerous, is not what I would call objective description of what we call the reality.

Religious people are people as any other. They eat, sleep, work, have sex and have fun, and my opinion is that they are no greater danger to our societies than any other group.

Sure, there are fanatics or people who behave in destructive or damaging way to others, but those are in minority, those represent only a fraction of any religion, and who knows if such individuals would not be fanatics even without their faith?

If we were to judge people, cultures, and religions by impact on the environment and other peoples, then we would be left with no choice but to admit that our own people, our own culture, our own religion is the most destructive force on planet at the moment.

# 1 You launched 132 nukes ( yes 2 hit but thats beside the point lol )

# 2 It took you 2 days to take a C3 that was defended by 6 wings and a dozen jeep and armored vechs that weren't even full.

# 3 You barely slept ( u told me this in a private PM )

Curious Nix, how much ammo did u use? lol
Have you been been able to sleep since your amazing conquest of the 7Mil pop c3?

U also failed to mention that you have multiple accounts set up...hmmm isn't that interesting

Your not gonna save face coming up with bull shit like that. :)

1# I used about 55 Nukes. 31 on your capital.

2# It took me 2 days to set up and about 7 hours to take your country. As I said, my countries were set up for making money and you declared on me :)

3# Tell me about it. And I'll be doing the same when I'm ready to attack your main.

4# I probably spent on ammo what you spent on replacing your navy, population and what you spent on that C3.
6 Air wings lol and the rest. I also did'nt touch your ground forces(except your SF units). No need.
How you have the nerve to call yourself a General I have no idea. Every attack you made lost you shit loads of weapons.
I bet your one of those ones who let their fed members fight for them :(

And as it seems that you have no idea how to fight, why would I need to pay for another account?

Free thinking people question life. Islam does'nt like it and cuss's them.

Free thinking people cuss back and Islam declares war on them.

Pussies.

'Time to put up or shut up Booboo' I said that meaning: Booboo explain in words why you cussed me.

Now I say "Put up your Empire or apologize Booboo" For once I throw a punch theres no going back. Except if theres an apology given or I can't catch them when they make a run for it.
You attacked me Booboo and now your letting the war decs to run out.

âNow, I'm no saint, so why should I feel the need to fight for the people who believe in God?
Well, I don't. What I do feel the need to fight for is the truth.

First there was Hinduisum, then Judaisum, then Buddhisum, then Christianity and finaly Islam.
To me this means that Gods last words where spoken to man through Islam. Meaning that Islam has more of a reason, compaired to all the other religions, to feel like they are the true word of God.
Now if you are a unbeliever, they will not befriend you. Why would you want to be friends with your enemy?â

Stop pretending youâre a non-Moslem and that you care about truth! Truth is something one knows by observation and reason not by credulous believing and attempting to rationalize oneâs faith/delusions. Someone who is not honest enough to claim to be a Moslem when they are one cares nothing about truth in either the literal or metaphysical senses!

The tree of religion leading to Islam is like this: Mazdaism>primative Judaism>Samartitism and Judaism>mandaeism (aka the followers of John the Baptist who are still around)>Ebionitism>Christianity>Manicheaism>Islam with Islam taking bits of Ebionitism, Christianity and Manicheaism to blend together.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

âIf you believe in the word of God through the text's of Christianity, Buddhisum and Judasium, Islam respects that but urges them to accept the new installment to the texts of God (Islam) as the new wishes of God. And until they do so they will never truely be people of God.â

Sorry but Buddhism is not a theistic religion! It has no texts to be studied and memorized like the Bible and Koran-Iâm sure about this, I was a Buddhist before I embraced science ;) Islam also slaughtered more Buddhist monks than anyone else. They exterminated the monks in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh (the traditionally Buddhist parts of India and exterminated the large Egyptian Buddhist population. Islam has no respect for any other religion and barely tolerance for its âpeople of the bookâ.
___________________________________________________________________

âIf you attack the final word of God, then you have proven to be the bad man, thus you deserve to die.â

Totally illogical accepting or rejecting any religion has nothing to do with being a âbad manâ or a âgood manâ. You then follow up this logical error with the claim that if one rejects Islam one is bad and deserves to die, which proves that people should be extremely worried about an extremely violent and intolerant religion and that you yourself are a murderer in your heart already and an extremely âbad manâ, but until you act out the murder in your heart you have the right to repent after acting you would deserve only death-something I have no doubt Mohamed and all his original followers deserved as they had done the deeds which placed them forever beyond repentance.
__________________________________________________________________

âYou can't blame them for what they are doing, for they are just doing what God tells them to do. And due to the rise of the bad man in the world, their will is becoming stronger.â

Really? I can blame them for rejecting reason, worshipping a cult of evil and practicing that evil, for never seeking truth and goodness and choosing instead to be the puppets and legacy of a conqueror worm, who was certainly one of the most evil men in human history.

The same as the Holocust is and will always be taught to the children of the world.â

I wonder much more why Christiandom does not hate Islam. Christian countries endured five centuries of Islamic Jihads before they launched their own first counter- Jihad against Islam and yes the first crusade was inspired by fresh Moslem aggression. The cannibalism was only at one city during the first crusade and the âfoodâ was already dead and donât forget they ate dogs too-the starving have no respect for which foods they eat.

And yes, I know about what the Christian church did to Muslims durung the Crusades. Twas awful.

Christian actions during the crusades were par for the course back then. You can not compare the morals of times gone past with the morals of today.
Using history and ancient history at that to justify the violence of some muslims is foolish. The cause of the trouble is the oppression in islamic countries and their lack of education and oppourtunity.
Hatred however is blind. Muslims may well turn a blind eye to fellow muslims slaughtering each other, but will always be quick to hate the US for a single muslim death.
It is easier to see fault in those who are not your own. People always make excuses for their side.
Human nature is human nature. We all want the same thing, it just has a different cultural style.
In time Islam shall lose its grip and freedom shall creep in just has it happened in europe with christianity. We just hope christianity does not slip backwards to the old days in the US.

The situation you are in determine your morals. A man might think it's moraly wrong to hurt another being. But if someone attacks his family he will kill them.
A mother might think it's moraly wrong to steel. But if her child will die if it is not fed she will steel some food.
Alot of Islam has been forced to live in times gone past due to the oppression. And one of the biggest oppressors in the world is Capitalisum. Capitalisum needs growth, new markets. Communisum and Religion does'nt fit in with the Capitalist way of thinking, so must be changed.
The only time Isalm will lose it's grip is when it controls the world. Like Christianity, up until the point where Christians ruled the Holy Land and suppressed Islam the parts of the Bible that caught the eye were the bits of hatred and war. But when Christianity defeated it's enemy, over time the hatred and war words were over looked and the words of love and forgivness were the ones that were taken notice of. Same will go for Islam. Once in control, the parts of the Koran that show hatred and war will be over looked due to there being no need for those kind of words in times of peace.
Unfortunatly, as Islam becomes stronger, Christianity (due to it's affiliation with Capitalisum) will either crumble or, as you put it, slip backwards. Not to the old days of the US, but further, to the old days of the crusades. Remember. The words of War still exist in the Bible. You just have no reason to see them yet.

The Goldern Khan (Little Upsilon)

Islam will never control the world nix. The islamic world is corrupt to the core. Most non arab muslims cant stand arabs.shias and sunnis at war. taliban at war with pakistan and everyone else. Nothing but doom and destruction will come from islamic lands. The only modernish islamic empire was turkish and they have seen the error of their ways. Progression leads to less war. The resourses needed to maintain a modern lifestyle make war too expensive to be fought between modern nations. The advanced can defeat the weak of course. But war between developed nations is too costly.
Most people are not capitalists. The few powerful maybe but the rest of us just want enough to be happy, anything else is a bonus. Nix islamic countries are victims of their relgious leaders. After WWII most of europe and japan was destroyed. Now look at it! Freedom generates oppourtuniy and wealth.
Islam is to blame for the state they find themselves in not the west.

I have to agree with that last line from The Golden Khan.

Sure, we invaded Iraq, but it wasn't the western nations that blew up schools, hospitals, and police stations. It wasn't the US that flogged women who dared to go to school. It isn't British soldiers that strapped bombs to themselves and blew up a crowded market.

Out of control religion has destroyed that area of the world. Extreme religious idealogy hasn't helped those regions at all. I have no qualms with the Islamic religion, but they are going through their own crusades right now, and the crusades never helped european nations.

Also, Islam will never EVER control the world. They are destroying any even remotely good image they once had through their actions of the last 50 years. They've done a great job of crushing public opinion of Islam (at least here in the US). And, despite all their posturing, they don't control much of the worlds military might.

And Nix, stop making your deluded jabs at capitalism, it is not failing. If it ever does, we certainly won't be alive to see it.

As far as I'm concerned, stupid religous crap has severely handicapped human development. A religious war is the dumbest war anyone could possibly engage in. Your not even fighting for anything that exists in the real world. Those people think their fighting for their god. As far as I'm concerned, if god does exist (which I personally doubt), and if he wants his followers to kill non believers, screw him. Even if he was real, I wouldn't fight for such a deluded idea.

In the eyes of the believers, the non-believers carry out the will of Satan and need to be converted so that they will carry out the will of God. But if they still do not wish to carry out the will of God, then they must be curtailed.
Due to the failer of Capitalisum, there will be alot of desperate people doing desperate things. What would you do MOA if you found one of these desperate people in your house and they refuse to leave until he gets what he came for?

Same with your lion cub. In a pride it knows it's place. Thats why some people get away with chilling with a pride. Yet a lion cub brought up in a human environment might end up trying to kill anyone other than it's owner.
