I started playing Simcountry again last monday, having been absent for roughly 2 months due to moving country and inability to get on the internet.
When i got back my countries were in a poor state, mostly deactivated and with bad economies, but i responded to attacks on my fedmates like any friend should.
As i began to reactivate weapons, countries with 100m population, roughly 20 of each base and airport, and no discernable reason to, began to deactivate their defense. This started in my nation Keeper 3, with roughly 50% of the NDB being deactivated. These deactivations are throughout my warslaves. This allowed many nukes from the wars to get through my defense, and cost me around 60m in population in that one country.
Furthermore, because of stupid f***ing game changes, if weapons are deactivated (even if for no conceivable reason)it will not let you reactivate anything for months. This means that all my nations are unable to access their massive pool of weapons because of a garrison bug.
To top it all off, one of these deactivations took out my entire interceptor defense in one country - 35,000.
On top of this, certain players are attacking and destroying things that have been worked on for years, and are the reason i came back to this glistening pile of faeces. I can cope with my nations being taken, i can cope with my nations being taken because of ridiculous bugs and errors, but i won't watch my friends be attacked over some trivial insult.
So i conclude my message. I bid farewell to you all, and hope someone else tries as hard as i have to ensure the peace and prosperity of Little Upsilon, because at the moment, selfish and hateful newbs are playing just to cause other people harm.
I will get on with my life, and try to find a way tha Valde can survive. I am deciding what to do with my account.

I dont want to end everything on a sour note, so i'll say a few nice things:
This game has given me alot of happiness over the last 2 years. It pretty much got me through my time at university in England, when i lost my fiance, my family moved country and i was falsely accused of very bad things by a girl who was my best friend at the time.
I have met many wonderful people here, to name a few:
Laguna: I've never met someone online who inspired so much respect, who showed such a similar sense of humour to me, and displayed so much patience. I hope we will keep in contact, as nothing is more painful than losing a friend. Good luck in life old friend.
Wild: Although you are attacking Laguna and seem to be a cause of most of the bad things going atm, i still value you friendship as high. You were one of the first people i talked to, and our marriage will surely last. lol.
Jason: You are loyal, dependable and i would (and have) trusted you with everything. I hope you play for a long time as you are good for any world and community you are in.
Sam: we've fought and been in conflict, but like jason, you are solid and reliable and i believe a genuinely good person.
Ameche: I dont know if you are still playing, but i never doubted you and feel sorry for what is an undeservedly bad reputation and experience on some worlds.
Kevin Henry: I know we didnt always see eye to eye, especially on the UC LDi conflicts, but you are a good federation leader, loyal and solidly moral. I hope you and laguna can salvage Valde.
Stuart: Youve always been there and tried your best. Youve got a loud mouth but its funny! :p I hope you sort things out at home 
Veritas: We argue, we (sometimes :P) agree, and you are the most stubborn, strong willed and intelligent person i know on this game :P
Dragoon: ive known you since you first joined, and you are a great player. There is noone i would rather have running my branch of the Valde federation.
Wendy: We have warred, argued, hated and bitched at each other. But you've madethe game exciting for me and many others. Maybe one day you will do it in a less destructive way. I will always love you, my little fluffybritches
Dizzy: You have caused alot of trouble, and i know you have been logging into beasts or serph's account to attack my empire. But despite this, i forgive you.
Leathal: I really am very disappointed, i had hoped you were being honest when you swore to me your loyalty was entirely to Valde.I stopped people from raiding you when your child was born, and have tried to be as supportive to you as any federation chairman and friend can be. Despite this, i forgive you too, and hope you can exist peacefully and more honourably on LU.
Nute: Your poetry smells as much as mine does! But you are a dedicated player and i respect that. |

Dub, Sad to see you leave and hope you change your mind but let's get things straight here real quick. I am NOT fighting you and do not even agree with this war as Laguna and Kevin are also my friends aswell, on the otherside of the fence so is Beast and also a fellow UC fedmate/friend with military training within the UC so the person you are fighting is none other than Beast not me. I don't have time for the game at the moment due to real life issues and if it was up to me I would bring you all to the table and call this war off becuase it is actually leading to nowhere and no longer makes any sense. doesn't even deserve a respond. but sad to see such a great asset to LU go.
And i'm not doing anything differently than you, i wont stand by and let my fedmate and friend be attacked either. I was hoping to avoid fighting against valde on this one, but things happen as they should. Next time try to stay out of others affairs, Valde started this, no other way around it. Putting a player that is being raided in your fed and assuming that he wont be attacked is ridiculous and an insult to the attacking player.
I know the belief's that valde follows, but i unfortunately dont agree with it 100%. Players have to understand that "WAR" is part of the game and just being active doesn't mean that ur safe from attack. I dont see myself playing much further after this affair is done with but i would like to leave the idea that EVERYBODY should play the game fully. If u want to play only the economic side of the game, go in WP indefinately or somebody will eventually attack you.
Next time try to not get involved in others affairs. Valde be the fed you are, u want to protect all of LU? then go ahead and get ALL the countries on LU in valde, if they aren't federated their fair game to me and as it stands, even in valde i'll raid you.
I spoke to kevin and asked him to stay out of all of this but look how things turned out. I would rather lose Chuck than Dub.
Again, sad to see you go but i don't apologize for my actions nor my way of thinking. You want to be save? go into WP. If not, there is a good chance you might be attacked. That's how the game was ment to be played.

Not everyone plays this game for the same reason. Players should not be forced to play the war game simply because some greedy players are too cowardly to fight someone who has an actual army.

EO is much more proficient at war than that. He hits important targets, manages weapons losses, and has a plan while fighting. You do not.
You have always fought in others accounts and the fighting style is easy to pick out for the informed.

Lol, when EO came home he found out his garrisons had been recalled and he was getting nuked. I was talking with him and told him to change the password. If you all recall about what time you started nuking him, you will know that it was well before his counter attack.
It was all EO after that... you know, when the fighting started being GOOD?
EO is easily the most talented player I've met since last December. Maybe next time you all shouldn't underestimate him and attack with exposed countries. |
