Dont you just love democracy. You elect a few MPs, said MPs spending millions of your tax money on themselves as 'expenses'. I think the french were onto something with that guillotine idea. Maybe Gordon browns head would make a nice new polo ball for the afghans.

At least incontrovertible records of the corruption were kept. A most transparant example of public pilfery. Whilst public servants must be above reproach, I think there are grander examples of corruption at other levels of local and national government.

Since this was not 'against' the law, it makes you wonder how many millions the MPs have needed for expenses over the years. At least with a dictator you are not suprised by such actions. With elected MPs....me thinks the guillotine would help cut public expenditure.

The magna carta did not ban head chopping, boiling in lead, hulling, or draw and quartering.

The magna carta is old news.Time to freshen up the law with a nice shinny new guillotine. Maybe a new bowling ally could be opened next to parliment using the heads of our beloved MPs.
