Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

Reminds me of the protests that brought down the Shah. Irony.

Reminds me of the arrests you see on World's Wildest Police Videos.

I've noticed the media drawing comparison to Tiananmen Square.

I love my country but there is something for us to relearn. We have grown complacent at home, sitting on our butts and complaining about high gas prices, corporate greed, and the general shafting our populace takes everyday. Dissent is the cornerstone of Democracy and we need to retake control of our once great nation.

Reminds me of the wild life footage I recently saw depicting a pack of lions getting the tables turned on them by angry parents of a soon to be buffalo calf meal.

Seeing those riot geared thugs, tring to pull that guy(girl?)away, look up to find the throng of pissed youngsters bearing down on them. Priceless....

Make hast for a safer haven, make hast.

To quote the ever endearing, and currently appropriate, monty pyton pals...

"run away, run away!"

Any totalitarian state can only function as long as the people are in fear of the consequences of dissent.

/me looks at China.

It seems the desire for freedom in Iran is growing stronger than the fear of the Islamic theocracy.

Now if the rest of the Islamic countries could only find the same desire perhaps we could all start getting along.

Pope,Yeah i agree. It seems like either they aren't afraid of death, or they really want to bring down their controlled Democracy, which they just realized is not controlled or a Democracy at all, is a totalitarian Dictatorship run by an idiot who hates the people who give him the money to run an even more insane nuclear program.

Lol, if Ahminutjob would just realize that if the whole West boycotted them, they would just collapse, economically and militarily, maybe they would learn some sense.

Yeah, and North Korea's people starve every day,and they realize now they cant get aid for firing missiles in the air towards Japan anymore.

They also dont seem to realize that if they did fire a missile at SK,we could intercept it before it even got off the launch pad,and if they did such a thing, and actually were able to hit SK with a nuke, the MASSIVE Nuclear Air Srikes rained down on them would wipe the entire continent of Korea off the planet IF Obama did not care about fallout into China, which is unlikely. But even without that, we have enough conventional bombs and missiles to achieve the same effect.

The only question is,How willing will Obama be to defend South Korea? Will he call for massive nuclear air strikes like i mentioned above, or just send tons of missiles and bomb the hell out of them, OR go for a US ground invasion?

Ive thought forever that NK is unwilling to use The Bomb because of the US Troops stationed South of the border, but there are plenty of other reasons.

We park our missile shooters in their region in "HOPE" of an intercept.

This is not a sure thing, although I wish it were.

I dont just mean Patriot and SAM and other things like that,i mean we could bomb the hell out of them before the bomb got out of the launch pad.

Also,US NAVY is feeling very good that if NK fired a missile at Hawaii they could intercept it courtesy of Robert Gates.
