Is it just me, or have the restrictions on IPO's been nuked. All of my corporations have the ability to IPO including my new ones. I know this happens sometimes, but everytime?

I wonder if the same is happening to anyone else?

If you actually click on Perform Public offering it will say if you can or can't because i saw it on a nuke company soon after it was built so i clicked it and it wouldn't let me.

I noticed this also.

I liked being able to look at the "Perform Public Offering" and know if I'm allowed to make the offer.
But I also like the message you get telling you why you can't IPO.

Maybe the IPO button could be red if IPO's are not allowed, and green if they are. If you click on the red IPO buton, you get the message telling you why you can't IPO. Green could work as is.

I just clicked on it to find out and yes I realized that it tells you why you cannot IPO. Personally I think this is a good thing, but like IndustMech said, it would be even more helpful if it were red if not allowed and Green if it were.

It was fine the way it was. It's just annoying now to see it highlighted but not be able to offer shares.

A suggestion was recently made to have something on the corp list which highlights which corps are able to IPO. This would have been a far better addition than the change that's just been made IMO.

The conditions for an IPO did not change.

There was a request by many, to publish the reasons why an IPO cannot take place and the exact conditions needed.
so now we show the details.

We intend to add a feature to show if a corporation can perform an IPO and also allow for multiple IPOs in a single action.

That would be great indeed, hopefully that could be implemented correctly, it would work wonders!
