I quit Sim country some time last year, because the GM's made a change that made a world wide econemy colapse(Ammunitions and other things were made extreamly exspensive, and it auto bought them). Is that still a problem or did the GM get their heads out of their asses and fix it? Because I lost a country that had over 70m+ people, 39T+ assets, a large army..and when the world war basicly broke out, I was slowly, but surely defeated because I couldnt fund it at all. . . still pretty mad about it lol

I am not familiar with the problem you are referring to so i cannot say what was done to fix it, however ammo is not overly expensive in general and you can control what your country purchasesAmmo will be purchased automatically from time to time, but at a barely noticeable level.

I have many countries all of which are profitable and experience no problems with world wide economy or excessive spending on ammo... well only the excessive spending i authorise :-)

AFAIK the game only auto-bought ammo if you set up garrisons that didn't have enough ammo. It would try to buy some for you to fill out the garrison. I don't think it does that any more.

All weapons use ammunition as part of their training and ammunition is in fact a large part of the cost of maintaining the army.
It used to be services and military services in the early stages of the game and was switched to ammunition.

so if the army is small, the usage is low. If the army is very large, obviously it uses more.

Also, purchases are done once in a while and ammunition is stocked for a longer period.

We sometimes get questions on a large cash decline for ammunition. most times, purchases do not take place for many types of ammunition in a single month and amounts are not noticed.

We think that most people now understand that the cash fluctuations they see are not cost but rather caused by spending cash for stocks of products and ammunition that are used in the following months.

When this was introduced, most people did not understand what happened and they the resented changes.
