After 5 days my empire was threatening by EO(Beast or Ares), Petra Arkanian(Wildeyes or Siva.) and whiteboy, i thought that the only way to seek victory was to dereg those weathlies countries, i had no more options.
They have been threatening people in this game for log time.
It wasn't fair 3 v 1 fight, and they always do the same tactics, you can find the proved of this on the LU Forum on
"Does someone need a hug?" and "July", i just upgrated both posted. GM should be aware of this too.
I bet many players dont like the idea of what's happening.

The challenges in this game, alarich, are many. Don't make the mistake of thinking it is all about score, worker shortages, war rank etc. The most interesting challenge is to integrate successfully into a community.

It may be an idea to work on improving that side of your game ...

Hugs and respect

If you wouldn't IRRITATE those who now attacked you, you wouldn't have problems.

Alarich, you were the first one to make a threat against me personally when you told me: I won't let you take Jinson's countries...then you tell me later that you weren't trying to defend Jinson but instead you were setting up on him yourself and didn't want me to beat you to the punch. Of course that was when you thought you were a big dog and had that big old fed backing you up which quickly dismantled after a dec from EO and I. We were looking for a full fed fight at that time and we thought the two of us vs. the biggest fed on LU at the time was more than a fair fight, only to find out that Daelin was never interested in war (for which we felt bad and why I continue to argue for the need of an econ mode of the game) and then you and BC took c3's on my border after EO and I had made a deal with Daelin that you would not act aggressively if we limited dmg to his countries. Then BC bailed on you, you ran away like a chicken and your entire fed fell apart. You then made it clear to me that it was your goal to have the biggest army on LU which you accomplished and at that time I told you there was no point in having that much military unless you were going to use it...you then proceeded to use it against inactives all over LU, amassing more and more wealth and then used them to destroy Aqua (which was fine with me), but eventually you were going to choose to use them against someone who I was aligned with and we weren't going to let that happen.

As far as the 3 v 1 thing, it's a stupid argument, if that were really important you wouldn't (or whoever it was fighting for you wouldn't...) have been able to hold those 2 countries for 5 days against two war legends in Wild and EO as well as myself who has quite a bit of experience at this point.

Stop with the whining...war is part of this game which you are clearly aware of as you developed the largest army on LU and have no problem fighting when you're the favorite to win. If you don't want war then stay in perma-wp like Daelin has chosen to do because he can just do the part of the game which he enjoys, but be smart about it and ignore the military stuff just as he has...if you stay in wp like some of those players out there *cough*cough* Biggie *cough* while holding onto massive amounts of military assets, we'll be watching you and you will get hit again if you let it slip because we aren't going to let you hide, build a huge army and then decide you want to fight because you have people to back you up and then come out of wp at the time of your choosing to attack us.

As far as de-regging the countries goes, it was a pretty chicken move and I consider it to be a slap in the face, if you didn't want to fight anymore you could have just stripped everything out and let it go, you would have ended up with more assets and we would have felt we at least received something that we fought so hard for. So for the slap in the face, I say that I will be returning the favor someday.

Tell the GM's what you will, this is part of the game and I hardly think they'll feel bad for the guy that was sitting on 3 QUADRILLION in military assets getting attacked.

You missed a few aliases, Alarich. I've also gone by Valkyrie and Ms. K. While pretending to be a noob I've been known as Contagion and RetroKiller.

I'll be damned if I let BS claims get trumped up on me again because I chose to fight a war against an enemy with far superior population and assets who has had his account LONGER than I've had my present one.

Yeah, you're such a noob... come off it. You're deprecating yourself and insulting real noobs.

Lets talk about:

1. Your empire
2. Your assets
3. The vast majority of each protected in WP
4. Your advantages in this war
4a. Defensive war
4b. long range from enemies
4c. Closed borders
4d. massive WP'd assets
4e. all the ways W3C has nerfed offensive abilities, especially at range and systematically tweaked the war engine over the last two years to dramatically favor defense.

It's players like you who truly hurt the game. While I don't parade around as sinless, I have never intentionally driven players out of the game or targeted newbs as some accuse.

However, when players like you come on here and spout defeatist rhetoric and talk about how "all the big players like to gang up on new ones (remember how i have a new account that is younger than yours)" - then THAT is what poisons the well for new players and distorts reality.

Who are these hapless noobs we're running around bushwacking back then? Laguna and Kevin Henry? I doubt they count. Besides, I've self-imposed a restraining order on myself around Laguna. Since re-naming to my old name the only time I've even spoken to him was to request voice as the Jozi chat.

Perhaps you mean the 3Ms on FB? Oh wait, that's FB the war world... and 3Ms, a war fed... who - by the way - started their history with me by declaring on ME back in the day.

Or are you talking about to the prolonged conflicts I had with wendy and UC people? Oh, damn... they weren't noobs.

So I guess you're talking about the Little Uppocalypse. I declared war on an ENTIRE WORLD and only Laguna and Kevin stood up to stop it. That is a failure on the part of the world, the playerbase, and the game design, that such a thing could even happen. But W3C did step in and freeze my decs at the end, then took away my ability to war. I'm still miffed - not so much for the exercise of executive power on their part but on the undefined phantom rules that were brought to bear. Maybe it's just being American, but I do like an explanation of charges other than vaguely "hurting the game"

So lets examine the Little Uppocalypse. There was "the scourging," which entailed the war on SNA. One player versus an entire federation. Oh yeah... I'm sooooo unfair and mean. Plus, by that time, a lot of SNA had moved to NV who (thanks to an alliance with Bobo on FB) escaped the decs. I even allowed certain players, who asked me if anything was about to go down, to go into WP or change feds. As a result, "the scourging" was actually more of a "light rinse cycle." But moving on... we had "gotterdammerung" targetting the old vets on LU, namely Valde at the time... but that never finished: refer to the above.

So I guess the example you're actually pointing to is when I nuked Houston. But I didn't actually take his countries, and his countries didn't depop either, so he rebuilt just fine. Oh, and he became a friend because he showed himself to be a decent person and took A LOT out of the experience. He was a regular in some of the LDI chats near the end. All of us actually jumped in when he was attacked later on by Orbiter.

So I guess who you're really talking about is Akasha. Well, that was unfortunate. I actually did not mean to take the country, I intended to hit "end the war" but out of habit I automatically clicked "take over." It wasn't that good a country to begin with, but the bottom line there is she had hostile bid on Jason. Everyone remember jason? You think it would have turned out different without me? I even offered help to Akasha, but then she went and pissed me off by pulling out the sex card. Pretending like you're helpless and a victim because you're a female? No, that won't fly. Especially not when you're safe behind a computer screen and just as capable as any guy out there at a GAME. I would know, ya'know?

Well that's my rap sheet from the past year or so, in case you wanted to actually have a discussion about it. I see one person who could qualify as a noob on there. And then, lets not forget all the people whose economies I have helped fix, whose wars I have helped win, all the advice I've given while I've been here. Do I want or need everyone to like me? No, but I expect you to at least refrain from libel.

Care to rethink your thoughts?

White boy. 'but eventually you were going to choose to use them against someone who I was aligned with and we weren't going to let that happen.'

Dam. Whats with all these pre-emptive strikes?
Same thing went on with the Rat Pack on GR. There is no honour in pre-emptive strikes. In game or in real life. Just because the Yanks think it's a good idea does not make it the rule. If we all let our fear of the next man rule us, there would be no peace on the streets. Whats starts war? Fear or greed.
And you know what they say.............The only thing to fear is fear it's self.
You should have gone to the security council if Alarich was on the rob and threatened the peace on LU.

Alarich. I know how you feel and now you know how those other players feel when they switch back on and see their countries have gone.
But anyways, surely this encounter has made you a stronger warrior (What does'nt kill you makes you stronger) Maybe all you need is another tactic. I find gorilla warfare works well against a foe that out numbers me.

Prime Minister Psycho, He attacked you for declaring on me AFTER I went to your fed leader and expressed a strong desire to contain major war to one world.... you soon after left 'The FED' and declared on my empire.

I would quit taunting the young man before I revisit my policy on LU. You are being quite insensitive Aqua.

He didn't 'leave' THE FED, he was booted, after we feared he would create the same problems he appears to have created between GREF and UC. Alarich agreed with our stance and took up arms in reparation of the fact that he initially introduced Aqua to THE FED.
BC would have been there too Wendy, but I seem to remember that you two weren't the best of mates at the time :p .

Actually, Bc and I were quite kewl, we were of a new school of players that agree war is 'good' for the game. We had a standoff, but not a deathmatch. A sharp contrast of my encounters with others. We managed to live(lol correction) in close proximity for quite awhile following that war.

Alarich. There are a few reasons to win wars in SC:
1) You don't care ( figure out your weapons)
2) You are really a warplayer ( STRATEGIES)
3) Be a coward by hidding behind WP. When you come out, let your enemies suffer little by little. Then empty their breaths.
4) YOU MUST ASK game master TO DO IT FOR YOU.
5) Learn to be a good hacker.

Blah.

See, if a giant purple dinosaur came stomping through my countries..he'd probably be war level 0.

Q:How do you stop a level 0 purple dinosaur?

A: Goats

To purchase goats in your countries to defend against the purple dinosaurs here is a brief tutorial:

1) Go into all of your countries and go to the market

2) sell everything that would be war related, including trucks Military supplies, Aircraft fuel, etc..

3) wait for the income from selling all the worthless things sitting in your countries.

worthless defined: Adj. (lacking in usefulness or value) "recent game updates include a worthless war engine."

4) buy goats of course? if you can't find goats on the market as they in extreme demand you may use fruit , stone, or Cocoa
WARNING: if you use Cocoa, please consult your neighbors as someone may nuke you for having a cocoa corp.

5) Throw them at the dinosaur and pray he doesn't try to hold your hand once he grabs your hand, you're forced to sing his tune for all eternity!
