I was thinking of building a few more chemical missle corps for my army, and I was wondering does anyone use them and are they useful. someone told me that they were a poor mans tactical nuke. is that true? if so about how many should I build. once I have enough of them is there a market for them, or should I just make more tactical nukes. opinions please.

From game documentation:"Chemical Missiles can deliver a chemical payload to a long-range target and cause heavy destruction.

Chemical missiles and batteries are purchased at a high cost but are much cheaper than nuclear missiles and batteries. They can destroy a variety of targets. They are effective against large fixed targets like military bases and airports, the capital and large cities.

Chemical weapons, if used at all, are effective, like nuclear weapons, in forcing defeat on a country that is already militarily weak.

I prefer to use Submarine Nuclear Missiles, Tactical Nukes and Hydrogen Bombs. They have the same range but cause at least twice the destruction of Chemical Missiles.

I'm sure if you build them and advertise someone will buy them. Generally noone sells WMD to anyone outside their federation. When selling to members in your own federation, you have to remember that what you sell could be returned to you if you have a FALLOUT with the buyer at some time in the future.

Are you operating on GR? If you are, sell all you can produce to my counties. I have several customers who seem to want me to air deliver as many as I have in stock. LOL. Sorry, I don't sell my special customer list.

You want to know why they ask for air delivery? Well, I think they get a thrill watching the LARGE Mushroom cloud. To tell the whole truth, I get all excited when it performs according to specifications. It's a BIG let down when it hits short of the target in Sidney Harbor.

To the Gamemaster,
Why does Sidney Harbor get all duds?

Another bit of info, more people died in one large air raid over Germany than died by the 2 atom bombs dropped on Japan.

and to prevent the soviets from taking a bigger chunk of china, and invading HokkaidÅ then using it as a base of attack on honshu. If the soviets had landed in HokkaidÅ there would have been little to stop them, and Stalin would have demanded half of japan as he did with Germany.

I also have another question. Do chemical weapons have the same fallout effect on neaboring countries as nukes? I was thinking about sending some airmail as well aganst one person, but don't want to injure anyone that is not involved in the dispute. that is why I was thinking of building them even though I have more then enough nukes for the job.

you have to be careful with mailing WMDs to people though, if you don't pay enough postage they get returned to sender >.>

Ok are you sure? if so then I will build them. It isn't specific in the documentation. the country I want to attack is close to some veteren players so I didn't want fallout from nukes of course. to Luonnotar I will be careful I know nukes go both ways. I won't move until I am ready and have enough forces to level the target.

meow69: what was your final opinion or finding on "Chemical Missiles"? They appear to have some surplus demand on Golden Rainbow, so there must be some interest or value, in general.
