I am sober.
And I authorized this message.

Please contact "Juno Beach CEOS ASK FIRST" to arrange details of attacks. Both countries above were recently captured and will lose WP very soon.

Nuke-at-will, please do not recapture until mission is completed.

Completely shutdown cocoa production (if W3C doesn't step in) and you could cause some grief in the world.

Very small market though, the c3s would automatically snap back and build more cocoa corps. I'm rather impressed the number has held steady at 23.

So little cocoa is actually needed that the grief wouldn't last long. Worst case scenario, people who need mil supplies would drop a couple of cocoa corps down and the shortage would end in a couple months.

WD, Manny is the prime example of why free market will never happen. They'll always need to step in when someone tries to corner the market.

it would be an honor to nuke said countries if you pay for the nukes. they are expensive after all. (whiteboy this might be a way to nuke your self. pay someone to do it so you can officially be the most unpredictable player ever. ;) )

I think having someone nuke you then paying for the nukes would make you the most unpredictable player ever.

I bought all the cocoa corps from LU.
All of them except the 22nd one because the noob blocked ceos.

Since last night the cocoa market exploded to 28 corps. The market however only need 8-10 corps for full production.

The 21 cocoa corps I own are contracted to me. I sell the production whenever I feel like it.

Shutdown cocoa, shutdown military supplies which are needed for the units to be functional.

If you tell 1000 people not to put beans up their nose, 20 or 30 will think "Oh, never considered that" and one will do it. Same with building cocoa corps. Just talking about cocoa corps makes people want to take action. I thought about building some myself. And it only can work one way-- no one is going to CLOSE their cocoa corps..because you have them all! (had)

My serious question--I've thought a lot about cornering markets in this game--anything you accomplish would have to be done pretty quickly, as there are no barriers to entry--unless you send sneak attacks at every corp of that type that anyone builds--so the question: how did you find out who had the existing cocoa corps?? You looked at the corp list of every country on LU??

If people "corner" a market, then at some point others will respond.

Which to give you an idea, one of those cocoa corps used to be mine. If I really wanted another, it'd be built.

I tried this once with electric components. Its a basic component of many different products and a very small market(at the time). The automation in the game quickly adjust to deal with any manipulation.

I guess if you are determined enough you could have an effect on a small market. But i also believe, on a number of occasions, the GM said they routinely step in behind the scenes to counter such moves.

I believe an open discussion by a player about specific market manipulation is unlikely to have much success.

Subtlety was never a strong suit of the train conductor.
