R.I.P. Tatooed Priest (Little Upsilon)

I met Aaron playing SimCountry. He was a great player and a sincere and caring individual. He always helped and supported me through tough times in the game. My name is Wendy. Tatooed Priest was his game name and he has so many friends in the game I am one of the insignificant ones. He gave me the title 'Queen of Battle' because I was always into something. But the way he was you'd never know. He never treated me any different, and like a close friend he was always there. SimCountry will miss you.
The United Confederation will miss you. I know for certain, Dizzy, Nute, Genral Dirt, Laguna and countless others will miss you. I wish this weren't true, because Aaron/Tatooed Priest is a great man that leaves a great legacy on a small game filled with people that will miss you forever.

I met Aaron playing Simcountry.
When he started Seven Nation Army, he recruited me to join. Because of that, I met alot of the friends I have here today.He spent alot of time and energy creating that fed along with a website he had created.

Aaron was a caring helpful man. He loved to play this game. He helped alot of newer players learn to play this game and was always there for everyone while he played.
He will be greatly missed in our community.

Wow...something like this really shows you just how little this game is in the grand scheme of life. I unfortunately never had a chance to meet TP but I have had many sing his praises to me the biggest of who was Beast/EO who is away from the game right now so I will just say that Beast appreciated TP so much and credited so much of his success and love of this game to TP.

Just two days ago I was deccing on someone to keep them from taking TP's LU countries, I honestly had no idea that he was ill, just that he was respected by many and deserved to have his empire left alone. I think we should preserve his remaining empire for as long as we play this game out of respect.

He sounds like he was a great person both in rl and in sc, wish I would have had the chance to know him, I wish his family well and that he can rest in peace.

My condolences to Aarons (Tattooed Priests) family and friends.
He will be missed greatly.

I would like to help Wendy. I gained respect for TP through his comments on the forum. They were either funny, informative or just needed to be said.

I came across this quote from TP on a thread talking about SimCountry:

I can say that I was blessed (and I am not the religious type) one day to find Tattooed Priest on MSN and we chatted for about an hour and were instant friends...he was as the obituary said...a kind compassionate man...though I did not have as much communication with him as I would have liked since that conversation...you could just tell...he was a good man! I was deeply saddened yesterday when I heard the news and saw his face for the first time...really puts perspective on the game when something like this happens to someone so young, 34. I support the lasting legacy of Aaron / TP on LU and My condolences go out to his wife, daughter, and family.

Tattooed Priest's passing is the saddest thing that's happened in this little community. I never got to play with him and now I very much wish I had.

To remember a good guy who had a kind heart, I've named a city in my main country: "Tattooed Priest."

Aaron, hopefully we'll meet some day, somewhere beyond this life, and become playmates and friends.

I am deeply saddened by this news. And my heart goes out to Tatooed Priests family. First time I heard of him was in my first week in SC. I did a search online for how to take a C3 and came across his website and It helped a great deal. I never talked to the man directly, but has always heard how helpful he was and what a skilled player he was. It seems his in game play reflected that of who he was in real life.

Maestro...I actually had the same thought...TP built a corporation in my main country on LU only a couple weeks ago...and was the last time we conversed.

No. It's best to just leave his empire untouched.

You want to honour him, then remember him. Nothing in this game is forever. You want to make a tribute, rename your own corporations/countries/etc, and leave his assets alone.

i never met TP but its good to know that this gamming community cares deeply for its members, and sent comforting messages to his family.

UUUGGHH I just found out me and T.P. lived in the same damn town. The lost opportunities...

TP, I still miss you big guy!
