I OBJECT to the links added in FB/WG/LU/GR/KB section that has the 0% tax list in the wiki.

Here is why I think "posting" works better:

1. Up-to-date
When someone posts on the forums about their states having 0% tax, that is live trading and means they are active. With these wikis, they become outdated, as new people add their states with old (some inactive) countries, so this list is bad.

2. Not Managed
Its an entirely different story if someone were managing the wikis, going through and making sure that all countries are active. Second, making sure that all countries added ACTUALLY ALLOW CEOS, which is the purpose for the list.

3. Clutter
Those links, though small seem....out of place. If this is a trend, it could lead to cluttering of the forums by links that will have to be removed later, as they become outdated.

4. Critters!
They attract bugs!

Game Masters, Please Remove them.

Just let us Post, so CEOs have an easier time to build their corps in a 0% tax country, when the people ask for investment. Posting is also more efficient in the forums, not the wikis, because it allows us to see newest-to-old requests.

Why Wasnt there a vote for this???

Hmm,

I think perhaps instead of removing the links, we update the wiki. The best way to update it, is just clear out all the 0 tax nations list, and let people re add them as they go, I can help with the wiki, but Dubletar, the truth of the matter is when new players search for "simcountry levels" or, "simcountry 0 tax" the wiki is the first thing to pop up on google, therefore we should try to keep it updated, for our own sakes, as well as to benefit new comers, and new CEO's.

Also, not everyone checks the forum for CEO's...the more avaliable information for new comers the easier it is for them to want to stay and not get frustrated with the complexity of the game..

If the GM, would add the TAX data to the downloadable country indexes, it'd be alot easier for someone to update the wiki, like me who download it around twice a week...

Just a thought.

That was one of my issues, its not updated.

So remove the links and let us post. In FB section, 0% tax discussion is ongoing without issue. The wikis werent needed.

I just went through the other day and deleted a bunch of countries that were no longer on GR or had changed their tax rate.

That's the beauty of wiki...anyone can edit it.

The links will stay, although not indefinitely. In fact, I forgot to add a link to the Wiki FAQ on the Help forum.

Anyone can update the list to keep it updated. Plus, anyone can receive an e-mail on the updates done to the lists or read the web syndication feed on a aggregator such as Google Reader.
