Space Center (Little Upsilon)

How many space centers do me need to have per country?

1? 5? 10? 20?

Do we need to have one in every country or just one in our main country? What is the upkeep cost going to be per space center?

Better question...when will the space program actually be implemented?!?

I have a surplus of all Space stuff waiting to be used to transfer some ammo and weapons to another world or at the very least just to try out.

Maestro...I am a little fuzzy on that 1 too, but I thought that the Space Centers were going to replace the ones the GM has set up right now in outer space, so it wouldn't be a matter of empires or countries. You will need boosters, components, and Shuttle Maintenance Units in the country if you expect to relaunch your Space Cargo shuttle after landing it in a country.

When will it start? Not soon enough. I've had a few space companies (maybe more than a few) go bankrupt.

It was poor judgement on SC's part to have a whole bunch of us start all these new space companies and have so many go bust.

I'm waiting until they fully implement the space program before I put any sim-cash into it; therefore, my opinion on the matter is that the poor judgment rests on the person that made the judgment.

So its poor judgement to attempt to be prepared?

I would like to see the space deal start up sooner than later. Like Zeba I to have some stuff thats collecting dust, needs to be put to work. efficiency folks... efficiency.

My Space program is mostly making money...really i just wanted to use the stuff.

If I am only playing on LU, is there any reason for the space stuff? it seems like it is more for players on multiple worlds. Right?

In theory you'll be able to sell stuff on an interplanetary scale directly for GCs. What products will be feasible for this and the amounts involved are still open to debate.

We'll know once they flip the switch.

Hey, if I sell some cattle in space will the cattle still be alive when they reach uranus or whatever that space station is called?

In most cases, if the cattle has reached uranus it's already been processed at least once...unless it's coming in from uranus, in which case you've got a definite space invasion going on.
