I'm sure there are other posts dealing with them, but I wanted to do my own synopsis on space.

First: Cargo space

So, by my calculations, I can carry 3 Strat bombs/Nukes/Sub missles. per flight,
while in another flight for the exact same amount of cargo space, i can trade 150,000 soybeans..now have you, here are pictures of each.

3 of these: http://www.hyscience.com/archives/2005/10/has_iran_design.php

or 150,000 of these: http://roberthenryseedcompany.com/soybeans.html

Hmm..Why not carry the 3 bombs, and cover them in soybeans, I should be able to then carry 3 bombs and 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 soybeans.

Second: Space Stations

200gc, for a spot that can only hold 2 strat bombs at a time, or of course, 100,000 soybeans.
I think I'll pass. *nibbles on a soybean as she types*

But yet, on my countries, I have in some 3 space centers, in others 2, and now that I got smart, 1 in each of the others, that hold INFINITE amounts of everything. Even more then your mere spacestations (which by the way are like, a 5th of the size of a planet) Those who bought the docks, that hold 2 strat bombs our 100,000 soy beans, should get a refund. or, make them hold WHATEVER they like no matter the station, it shouldnt be like playing where is waldo to find where you want to go sell your soybeans..and even when you find it, dont bother putting them on there, no on will buy them for 1gc. Getting off onto another point here *stops*

Third: If you want space to take-off pun intended, u cant have everyone building cargo shuttle corps for themselves (given when i had mine running and ASQ'd they made 120B profit per year) BUT STILL, It's silly.

Fourth: Trading in space should have its benefits, as to how you'd like to pay, SC cash is much easier to pay for items and realize what you're paying, I've seen some sales go for a strategic bomb for 1 GC in SC money thats 450B on the direct market, I could purchased 22 at the going rate on any world had i just asked around. not to mention the people trying to sell 1100 tanks for 1 gc, when i can buy 25000 when my spending space refreshes on any given world, as normally they are in surplus.

Fifth: You should be able to sell/close/destroy shuttles, and spacecenters, that'd help those who built far too many as we went along, and then those who put them in strip countries, to strip them out of things, they still show up on my "flight" When the country becomes a C3, or another users, the shuttles docked there, as well as the centers should become there's as well. if it's reset to a c3 of the server, they vanish..

Sixth: Instead of click click click click, we should be able to set what each of our shuttles is getting from a selected Space Center on a world, and what it is bringing to it (if anything) until that resource is no longer present in that space center, rather then having to keep up with countries, and "OH WAIT" I forgot to send my shuttle back to get the same thing it's been picking up for ages...

Hmm, I could add more, but I think my point is on the mark with what I have said thus far.

I'd personally propose two solutions to shuttles. Either will satisfy me.

1. Automatic shuttles. This is my preferred one. Let us define routes for them, and let the shuttles move automatically. If this is too powerful as-is, make them move slower while on autopilot.

2. Bigger cargo space. If W3C does not want them to move automatically, increase their cargo space. Right now a shuttle cannot hold nearly enough cargo to justify all the time and clicks it takes to run them between worlds and/or space stations. Again, if this is too powerful as-is, make them run slower (while heavily loaded?).

Other thought: Let people sell cargo shuttles to each other. I do not understand why they can't.

Being able to sell the things again would be a blessing.

I certainly will agree to the commentary on the pricing and size issues. I think I'm one of the few people utilizing a space station to sell goods that is using the fractional GC capability.

It's still expensive buying from me but paying .06GC for a tactical nuke is still better than .2GC. :)

Switch it to cash, and have the display show something like 1 bomb for 40B or vs. 1 coin for 16.67 bombs. Heck, even 1 bomb for 0.06GC would be an improvement.

I only used them to get bragging rights as the first player in space.

Hello, I'm one of the W3C employees.

We're looking into space trade and travel and will at least double capacity of space shuttles and docks, maybe more.

Thanks for all the input, please keep it coming!
