Simcountry is setting up a co-marketing program that allows players to support our marketing effort by creating links to the Simcountry website, on their own websites.

In recognition of this effort that can help Simcountry to expand its reach on the internet, we will support players who are setting up such links with monthly donations of gold coins.

For each link that is setup by a player, and remains in place for an entire month, we will credit the account of the player with 5 to 25 gold coins each month.

The exact number depends on the rank of the page where the link is placed. If the page rank is 0, 5 gold coins will be added to the account each month.

If the page rank is 1 or 2, 10 gold coins will be added to the account and in case the page rank is 3 to 5, 15 gold coins will be awarded.

In case the page rank is 6 or 7, we will add 20 gold coins each month to the players account and 25 gold coins if the page rank is higher.

A player can setup multiple links and will be awarded for each of these links with up to a total of 500 gold coins each month. The links must be placed on different websites. Multiple links on a single site will count as one.

Simcountry will run daily checks on the existence of the links and will count the days the link exists. On the 30th day, it will add gold coins to the account and reset the counter to start counting for the next period.

Players can check their links and counters on the Co-marketing pages and see for themselves what the status is of each link they created. They can also see when links are not reachable and not found by our procedures.

Gold Coins earned in the co-marketing program can be used in the game but can also be cashed out when the total number earned is 500 gold coins or more. Cashing out of such gold coins will have no time limitations. Simcountry pays $ 25 for each batch of 500 gold coins. This system is already active in the game and is in use by very successful players.

The program is now fully functional.

As of now, we are counting these links like we count any others and accept multiple links from these sites.
We will find out how these links are treated by search engines.
we might add special categories for this kind of sites in the future.

Anywhere you put a link, we will count it if the URL you enter can be used to read the page and find the link.
One link per domain name, except for facebook, twitter, youtube and such.

You will see on the page where you place the URL, if we were able to find it and count it.
Ask us if anything is unclear.

Is this an addition to Promoting members program? Or substitutes what was already in place?

In a larger sense, my question is this:
What is different from now and if there is a particular reason?

This is a new program and it is aimed at links to the simcountry site.

As to the existing promoting members program:

it has been working for quite some time but the way we have promoted it, and the way we have followed up with the players who are participating is insufficient.
It is currently impossible to see what if any results have been achieved.
We plan to revamp that program too in the coming weeks and upgrade it to a fully automated system with frequent reports on new player joining as a result of the program, number of clicks and the number of full members.

also payments will become more frequent and it will become clear if and how much will be paid.
we will also reprocess everything that was done in the past with this program and repair if needed.

more will be in the game news in the coming weeks.

You can post comments on sites but these should include a link, following one of our examples.
These links must also remain there as we count every day and will award the coins once per 30 days if the link was there all that time.

What if the site where the link is place is down at check time (server outages happens).

So from 30 days the link was present only 29 times when you checked it.

KK, I used the fourth example. The link Works, but doesn't show up as a banner. Should I use it like a regular format while writing regular text, or switch to html inputs. I placed the example using html mode. Which is what I thought I was supposed to do since the option is available. Not sure why the text shows and not the graphic banner.

Edit: NVM, the HTML is my view, so that I can see the source code. LOL, I know what you're thinking... so shut it ;)
