War Levels:

That is all.

Nice idea on the WP. Alt version: can attack C3s but not presidents while in WP.

I disagree. You should leave the game alone and pay for what you payed to play.

If you feel different, Go dubletar's route and make your own game. Then you can deal with players like yourselves who will never be satisfied. have all the solutions, and still want more for less.

After the war level changes, do we really have to suffer more 'good ideas' that turn into disasters. Enough is enough.

The simplest solution is to play for what you paid to play. If not, google search games that give you what you want. Simcountry is changing so much I can barely recognize it. It is hardly a shadow of the game I joined almost 3 years ago now. At this rate you might come up with a new name for the to match the changes.

I'm being deliberately obtuse. They won't change anything. I'm a minority of one, but for better or worse, the biggest thing I'm against is labyrinthine, convoluted changes... which is what's going on.

If certain idiots would stop exploiting the system to their own advantage then changes wouldn't be necessary. It's just like fireworks...99% of people use them without incidence...but because of that 1% of idiots who choose to f*ck it up for the rest of us, rules and bureaucracy must be created.

You don't like the changes, maybe you should have considered that before you decided to act like the 1% of idiots who blow their hands off with firecrackers...fitting comparison.

Wendy, I disagree completely with your disagreement. I joined over 3 years ago, and at that time people were complaining about the changes, and droning on about how good it used to be. I thought the game was great. Change is a feature of this game, like it or not. I like it. You have to adapt, and stay on your toes. If you don't like the changes, you can leave. The subtitle of this game is and always has been Adapt or Die.

In any case, don't tell me what I should or shouldn't say or do.

I haven't told you to say or do anything Jojo. If you don't like the game as it is you can leave too. What was your point again, if there was one?

Jojo, I disagree with your disagreement of the disagreement that you disagreed with.

I've learned things from the rants. I also reserve the right to hold up an aspect of the game that I believe detracts from the experience or makes the game less realistic.

...and for Pete's sake, would the game master please create a test world? Where people can try out the cutting edge changes and already know to expect the potential chaos which can then be corrected BEFORE it's dumped into the laps of everyone on all worlds. It would take alot of the frustration and negativity out of the feedback as well.

Damn it! I am SC aristocracy.

Yeah Solomon, a test world, occupied only by those who were willing to deal with the 'testing' would certainly provide a great demographic to test out changes. No way that world would be occupied only by either a) no one or b) people that enjoy change.

That would totally make things different.

I've got a better idea, the SC world learns to adapt instead of acting like SC should behave like real life which....never changes?

The best approach would be to allow the community a way to punish people for their actions which undermine the system...any thoughts?

Whats up WB? Headmaster taken your fire crackers off ya?
Anyways.....If the security councils did their jobs and united the communities, punishment of rouge states/empires would be easy.
Maybe the security councils need to be set up differently?

Scarlet. What difference does it make if in WP or not? I'm tired but I'm sure that if you declare on a C3 no-one can declare on you as you are already in war.

Hypocritical being you never adapted to anything, only cried and moaned until they changed things to shut you the F**K up. And your candy arse is still fn crying. Give us a break. Grow the F*&k up or shut up...damn. Make me fn puke on my keyboard. Your panzy arse makes me sick.

And don't fall for the bait of being drawn into another round of WB's Bullshite changes that get painted as a communal idea, then ruin what little is left of the game. War levels, are a complete fn disaster. You can thank Deputy D**Khead for that wonderful feature.

You all will get drawn into discussing yet more pitiful and useless changes that will ultimately piss you off and severely hurt the game, at the sole satisfaction of one really dumb kid who thinks he knows all about any and everything under the sun.

For Gawd's sake no more changes from WB puhlease!

Nix, econ players can buy countries and players on vacation don't need to be able to declare war on C3s. This would prevent the worst abuses of the system (i.e. Hey, I'm going to setup C3s on your border while I'm safe in WP!).

It would be easier to avoid pissing someone off rather than trying to convince a majority of sc players that a blindsided conclusion to change the game will solve everything. The last "solution" discussion led to more questions than answers, void of solutions missing the entire problem completely. And, now.... more whining. Less playing, more crying, change this ...change that....

Change the game you play, you've pushed these gms too far already, they try to deliver what they are made to believe players wanted, yet when they delivered it, it was hardly the case, no one liked it. Enough with the crying about this or that.

The golden rule will surpass any game change. I advocated this example *BEFORE* we had disastrous new war levels introduced. As much as I hate it, I don't blame the gms, I blame all the shortsighted people who ignorantly participated unknowingly in WB's plot to satisfy himself.

And hes been quiet for at least a month, less than two days back on the boards, crying for more... "Suggestions" LMAO WTFizzle!

Wow Windy...someone didn't take their crazy medicine this morning.

The war level system hasn't been fully implemented so I'll continue to say: Until it is, stop proclaiming it's a disaster.

The worst parts of the system, forcing people to take only c3's at or above their level and requiring that people only fight others at their own level were not part of my original idea, it's something the GM's put in as a response to people like YOU who refuse to play respectably and instead waste everyone's time and then in response to people who were somewhat understandably upset by being beaten up by people much better than them at the war game (although I still believe the right answer to that was to just buy WP). I unlike you, was willing to compromise in the hopes it would make the game better. But, my original idea was just different levels of c3's so that people could learn the war game and test out new strategies against countries with more than AF def wings and 15/15/15 garrisons. Then, to also add rewards into the system so that people had incentive to learn.

The difference between you and I Windy is quite simple, you are out for you and could give a sh*t about anyone else as you've clearly demonstrated and above that you could care less about the game and you are a big reason things are in the state they are right now. I however, am trying to make the game better...people may disagree about the methods which is perfectly reasonable, but I'm not greedy and I already have all the assets I'd ever need in this game and frankly I barely play anymore because I don't have much time. But I love this game and would love to see it return to it's heyday, I'd quit and hand over my account to the community if I could be assured that would bring the game back...we all know you wouldn't do the same...which makes it pretty clear what your priorities are.

Psycho_Honey (Little Upsilon)

If you really want to the game to flourish, you would beg the gms to unravel the disaster you caused. The war level system doesn't need to be fully implemented. It is already a dissaster. I need to waste time fighting c3s now that fight back? And this is going to make it better, how exactly?

In order for the game to return t its heyday it would require the removal of some very disasterous features, improving of age old features that already needed tweaking, and above all else, you shutting the Fudge up.

You're old news, boring, a nuisance at best, and an embarrassment to real players that play the game. You aren't a savior. Your system sucks, at any implementation. Feds still suck, not getting better at your mystical prophecy of a comeback. Your suggestions suck. Your head is far up your own arse you can't even see that almost 80% of the game has already expressed this sentiment. The other 20% were your friends that felt bad for you and voted in your favor. Do yourself a favor and busy yourself with something. No one cares if you are greedy, not greedy, we don't care about your auto biography, your self ego stroking, you still just suck. Period.

Now buzz off piss-ant!

Well there are those who argue that players should not suggest changes in an attempt to improve the game, but should accept the game as it is, and if we don't like it we can leave. I was just reminding them that the option is just as available to those who do not like the changes.

I do think it works better when we argue the merits of the proposed changes themselves, rather than direct personal animosity toward those who are discussing them.

Since my very 1st days of SC (3 years ago) there have always been changes to the game, ranting vets complaining about the changes, and other vets spouting off the age old adage...if you don't like the changes, then leave...the only thing that is not going to change is the situation I just described...LOL!

So Wendy...I thought your whole thing was...Adapt and get over it? So quit your itchen and blaming.

The game has evolved since the beginning of SC to curb those players that have deliberately undermined and abused the game.

Adapted.... it takes 7 minutes to take a c3 instead of 5. WoW

You left the game supposedly 4 months ago. I guess you are implying that the game has adapted to get rid of you?

Noting the stupidity and wastefulness of the time adding a deliberately redundant feature is not an indication that anyone or myself especially has failed to adapt to anything. I have adapted to this game and the games played by individuals on this game since I started, and well before I knew you. And I will continue doing so while you figure out that you really never had a life to get back to and start playing again. You're a perfect example of nothing and nobody.

Get back when you have some purpose in the game, NEXT

Hate to point out the obvious, but if I quit 4 months ago, then you wouldn't be exchanging posts with me today...duhhhhhhhhhh...LOL!

I'll be gone pretty soon as my membership will lapse in the next few weeks...I'll miss making you look like the idiot you are, but your presence in this game is why I won't be paying SC anymore (you are just that annoying).

Back to my point though...In this very thread (and several others) I see you blaming WB and bitchin about the game changes...sooooo AGAIN...Adapt, get over it, quit your itchen, and blaming...or just leave!

With the spelling and mental prowess of a 12 year old...I could easily see how you would be bored. I suppose that's why you cling on every move of an online game...trolling around for something to happen...changing your story when it suits you...not because it's accurate, but because you are that bored with life...can you say...LameoooooooooooooooO! See ya and I wouldn't want to be ya.

I don't know about anyone else but as someone who sits pretty quietly off to the side, I'd love to see more detailed information about people's observations of fighting C3s at different levels.

Details about weapons used by C3s, deployment amounts and similar would be pretty interesting. Its a little hard to comb through all the newspapers each day to pull it out and I'm more academically curious about it than desperate enough for info to spend weeks doing what everyone else already has.

I've been extremely lazy and have only fought one C3 since the change (I think it was level 4). It took a little longer than it used to when you were attacking without paint, but it wasn't bad at all. I doubt the rewards were worth it, but I guess it could be more profitable at higher levels. One of these days I'll get there....
