We promised answers quickly and it took us much longer.
here are all the answers promised during the last chat

Population transfers

This is an old subject and has to do with the tradability of population. We do not think that populations should be moved at all but we allow for countries to grow faster by injection of population.

Many players see population as a way to make gold coins. This is not what population growth is intended for. You need population to build your economy. You can wait for the population to grow or you can make this process faster by getting it more quickly from the market.

Reducing population in any country should be avoided and currently, such transfers have a bad influence on the age group distribution and on the welfare index. It causes long term damage to the country.

We do not want to increase such transfers. We advise players not to transfer population out of any country.

Federations

We agree that some information sharing between fed members will be very nice to have and added this to our wish list. More functionality for federations and more interaction between members is also planned. Any ideas are welcome.


Nuclear Weapons

We are examining the effects of nuclear attacks and will decide on a potential increase in their effectiveness. However, we have recently changed the way the war index is computed, made it more transparent and also force land attacks to win a war. It is now impossible to win a war by nukes only. An invention must be part of the war.

Setting Common market Pricing

We will revisit this function and expand its functionality. Setting the price for common market contracts will be part of the change but there will be a limitation to prevent inter account cheating that was used in the past to move money from a new, second or third account into the preferred account, causing the secondary account to lose money and closing it when it bankrupted.

Public blackout periods

We suggest a vote on this subject. Our opinion is that the blackout period should be public. It is of course possible to check during war and publishing it will just make the war game easier.
Please start a vote on this and we will comply if the vote is decisive.

Automation of Shuttle flights

This was planned and published before. We will add the possibility to enter a schedule for shuttles, with repeating commands to move large quantities of product with a small number of clicks.

Order Strategies for Ammunition and Weapon Quality Upgrades

We have looked into this and did not find a problem. Please mail us a more detailed description and we will fix it.

Tactical Nukes and Chemical Weapons

Both weapons will be upgraded in the coming weeks and become usable against more targets. Strategic weapons will not become usable in C3 wars for now. They might become part of C3 wars in higher levels.

Tom you gave this reasoning without thought or mention to the reason it was being requested. You also did not acknowledge the very large gap between potential to profit from loans vs potential to lose many times more than you could ever gain from loans in a relatively (extremely) short period of time. It is likely that if you fail to move loans in a real week's time that you would not regain your losses in a real month's time even if you loaned out twice as much as you previously intended and even if you loaned out twice as much as the total it took for financial services to drain trillions off your count in almost no time flat.

I can't agree that an auto sweep is not necessary. I gave basically a side by side example that shows the ratio to be way off. There is no way for us to know when a player may or may not take out new loans, much less pay a mass of them back at once, leaving those who loan money out with large sums of cash in their country and vulnerable to extreme penalties, just for being a "loaner".

I guess the question(s) is/are:

1. Do you want players to completely abandon the loan market in order to avoid financial fees?

2. Will we remove financial fees altogether with a reduction in interest gained and income from loans?

3. Will we reduce the cost of financial services in light of the extreme penalty imposed by them, and risk it poses to a player's cash reserves?

A compromise of one or more or any combination of these suggestions is certainly in order. The evidence is already shown. Not sure how even still you don't agree. :(

Also Tom, on the Affiliate Marketing Page I can no longer see the statistics.

I do not see clicks, registrations, payout information that is usually there to track marketing performance.

Is this missing for anyone else?

I also had a few suggestions for affiliate marketing. We need some new materials because the 3 creatives offered, while useful, are insufficient. The best affiliate marketing programs as far a s clicks/joins have very nice graphics banners and promotional materials. For example, the new free membership button on the portal looks good. It stands out, and would grab attention of people visiting my site. I'm getting a lot of traffic now, and would like to see more people click on this link. It is extremely visible on my left sidebar right near the top.

I hope you guys can come up with a nice bunch of graphics and offer a banner bank where ten or more unique graphic/texts can be created on a few standard marketing size banners/buttons. Just a suggestion.

--> I agree. In fact, I think I would increase the minimum population before sale is allowed, up to 50M. Countries should be more permanent.

--> I like this; maybe people will use shuttles now. However, I think that (at least part of) the value of weapons and ammunition moved into a country by shuttle should be deducted from the country's military spending space. If it is not, spending space will be irrelevant.

The loans:
The amounts of loans are declining and will probably keep declining.

Keeping smaller amounts of cash in the countries, moving spare cash to the account will solve the financial services issue.

5 or 10T can be offered and financial services kick in at higher levels.

an automatic offering of loans will not solve anything.
it will increase the amounts on offer and there are not enough takers.

tom, as i understand it, the complaint is FF as a result of large amounts of replayed loans at one time

when you recently enforced the 14T max received loans, the amount of FF i received before i logged into that world (KB) was 8T, more than i'd made. personally, having enough loans that being payed back causes more in fees than its worth... is silly. but unexpected changes, causing those paybacks, isn't fair either. we are just asking for a safe guard against unexpected large pay backs

something should be done about loans we dont want the loan market collapsing. Instead how about making paying back the world bank instantly but player you have to sit it though idk something so that we dont see money leaving the loan markets
