You are an active population trader.

Is it safe to say you are one of the 10?

i didnt vote, lol. i looked it up after ur post.

i fail to see how pop at 3gc will help the game.

while these new war lvl are in part good, the restriction on being able to war is killing activity far more than pop value

the old school of thought was if u dont want attacking, pay for wp or learn to defend urself..that has been eliminated...thats whats killed the game

simcountry has always been a learning game and one that takes time, speeding up pop purchasing will change nothing

most of what i enjoyed about this game has either been nerphed or removed

looking at the amount of old players that are either inactive or have left....they dont enjoy its present format either

This will encourage more raiding. As more people think it smart to expand before learning to defend.

Discounting population to 3 coin will encourage economic growth in simcountry and speed up the game.

* Create more countries 'of size' faster/cheaper that can support a war machine. (Or grow and be left alone)

With the cheaper cost players may be more willing to risk their empires in war. (Hey lose a tit, grow another one back.)

Will there be more raiding in the game? Maybe, but so what.

An alternative to the cheap population would be to increase the starting population for countries to 25 million people.

"Will there be more raiding in the game? Maybe, but so what."

I doubt your 'so what' attitude is the reason you have level zero on your empires on all worlds.

Raise your war level and drop protection so we can see how long 'so what' lasts.

I voted yes

Personally i do think cheap pop from the GM would help but it needs to be offered so many at a time. Tommi and Laguna mass offered GC that killed the market. New players don't have GC so the price should have stayed the same if not increased instead it dropped from 460 per GC to 360. If the GM offers 3 offers 1M pop at a time that wouldn't hurt the market. 3-1M @ 3GC would keep bidding for GM pop small and the player rate would be a steady 3-4GC. Anything more like 6 or more offers would for sure decrease the rate as people would have to under cut the market.

The market price for gold coins hasnt been killed, lol. Just cos u see the price lowering doesnt mean its value has diminished.

@ maestro. How will cheap pop help war players? Big countries are really not the way to go,some of us that have high pop countries find it far harder than with our smaller pop ones to manage both corps and weapons.
If your looking at ways to expand economic growth, its already in place..corp sizes have been increased i dont know how many times lately.

I'd like to see many players with a 50 million population secure main. (A cash cow)

Second, I'd like to see many players with an additional 2 to 4 countries in the 25+ million population range.

Empires that can support a sizeable military and not be afraid to lose their empire in war.

The key: Cheap population

Again, how will cheap pop stop someone being afraid of losing their empire?

some of us arent afraid.

econ is what makes u support a large army, not cheap pop.

THE KEY: LEARN ECON PAY FOR UR POP LIKE E1 ELSE

One reason W3C will not lower the price of population is because such action decreases the economic impact of maintaining the population of large countries.

next he'll complain that the population market is ruled by 'the tommi'

with the lowered price of gc, population and war protection are now cheaper.

Seems you got your wish before you asked for it.

My proposal is targeted to new players in the game, though veterans will also receive the benefit.

My population growth days are mostly behind me now.

The population market is ruled by players like you Wendy. You'll still make coin in the population market in my proposal.

Maestro2000...

in response to the original post:

So now, with them already bottoming out GC and Cash in Direct Trading, now you want them to bottom out Population too?

I remember paying 480-500 and lucky to get 390 in cash per gc..

Now pop, I now even list pop @ 3 or 4..never 5, You should consider patience when adding pop, not buying GM pops for instant growth and waiting a few hrs wont kill you.

or come in chat and ask "anyone have any pop I could get for 3-4 gc 8 times out of 10, someone does. I always do somewhere.

2nd point:

Building an empire, and buying an empire, are two different things. I dont waste my credit card on SC, strip, consolidate, conquer, build econ, sure I have some countries that came pretty well stocked, but most built from scratch, or came with pop, stripped them down and start from scratch with just a decent pop start...

and respectively, It takes a LONG time naturally to get 1M pop growth, (alot less time then it used to a year ago with a few updates they made)
Lucky they dont make it 7 GC..

But yah know, if your tabs getting low, Get a Chase Blueprint card.... :P

The cheap population will speed the game up and be a great help for new players.

Have not personally bought any population since November 30th. My population growth days are over.(Total November population buy 11 million)
