Hostile Bidding (Little Upsilon)

This is separate from the hostile bid by Mr. Josef Lenin on KB. I was recently bid on by the player Edwin K on LU of the country "The land of Ed". My normal response in these situations is to count my money and grin. However, due to rampant boredom, I decided, Hey, why not boycott the guy? So given this idea since I can't otherwise harm him behind secured mode or terrorize his slaves behind war levels or drop nukes on his neighbor or take out a bunch of loans and debt bomb him . . . but wait, I CAN'T PUT ONE DAMN BOYCOTT HIM! All I want is one boycott on a pesky noob, just one itty-bitty boycott . . . and I don't get it. WHAT CAN I DO!? I'm bored to tears, you understand, to tears, and I can't BOYCOTT somebody that hostile bid on my corporations. I can't do anything!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I just want to be able to do something! in response except twiddle my thumbs.

It's not about the money, damn it! It's about having an excuse to do something. I want to take action against people that cross me.

@Aaron, I guess so if you wanted to look that far back. Secured mode and it's implications are far less severe than war levels. Let's just be honest and straight forward. By comparison of the two - there is no comparison.

This Guy is the EXACT same thing and it's doing this to me.

Two messages were sent directly to that leader at that country, asking to re-consider, etc., and offering help, as well as strongly suggesting some comment on the forum. Thus far, no response anywhere.

Interesting how easy it is to post messages asking for corporations to come, then how difficult it seems to be when you want to nationalize...

Anyways, it's just a risk CEOs take. If you don't want risks, then just build in your own countries...unfortunately, countries don't have the same risks, when in secured mode, and "too new to be boycotted". Probably if some CEO is still upset, the only other option would be some Security Council resolution which Scarlet didn't mention yet as an option.

I dont see the problem. He doesnt want the corp in his country, asked you to move it, gave you notice, so move it.I take it a bid came in cos u left it there longer than the 3 days.

All active and decently run corporations in my country, the Kingdom of Navamin will be given top priority when it comes to employee distribution and policy. In the very near future, we'll have a surplus of workers and will be looking for more corporate partners. At present, we haven't performed any nationalizations, but if you neglect your corporations or become inactive...we will. If you have an urgent need to move a corporation, send me the important details of your corporation and I'll see if it's possible.

I would like to be 100% clear: the problem is that we cannot boycott him in response, not that he nationalized!

Just to repeat...if you are a CEO and want to move a corporation to Navamin, let me know. We have some openings.

Unfortunately, I am not located on WG. I admire your persistence in advertising though.
