It is 32 degrees outside! There is .01 of an inch of ice on the roads! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOUSE! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE! STAY HOME OR YOU WILL MOST LIKELY FREEZE TO DEATH OR BE INVOLVED IN A TRAGIC ACCIDENT! If ANYTHING, you should be panicking and blaming global warming.

LOL.

You Texans don't build roads for winter. Some of the worst accidents, due to ice, that I have ever seen happened on I 40.

BTW. Are you reading Kipling yet? Or are you determined to remain an ignorant grunt your entire exixtence?

Quote:

Mary's Son
1911
If you stop to find out what your wages will be
And how they will clothe and feed you,
Willie, my son, don't you go on the Sea.
For the Sea will never need you.

If you ask for the reason of every command,
And argue with people about you,
Willie, my son, don't you go on the Land,
For the Land will do better without you.

If you stop to consider the work you have done
And to boast what your labour is worth, dear,
Angels may come for you, Willie, my son,
But you'll never be wanted on Earth, dear!

hey, it's the only time i have an excuse for drinking my single malt scotch whiskey. yes, we get a little freaked when it gets down to freezing and if it snows then we really go ape s**t. we are proportedly the most air conditioned city in the world (excluding the Arab world now probably) but let it get down below forty...

but we love our rain. our streets are built to be our flood control. they flood with a 1/4 inch of rain. it's not unusual to get 3-4 inches of rain in an hour. 1/3 of the county is in the flood plane. but we keep building like there's no tomorrow. we just all have water wings.
