I'd like to trade all strategic weapons on the direct market. The direct market is basically space without the bells and whistles.

Type of government should have an impact on your country.

Democracy, communist, facist, kingdom.....

There should be production/cost modifiers up or down based on your government type.

And to change your government type there should be a period of anarchy were your production suffers and you can't declare war on another player. (Or at least you risk losing the country to revolution if you declaring war on another country during this period of anarchy)

Whatever you want to change, you can get it changed by GM. The only thing that GM hates to change is making your empire more profit. hahhahhaha.

Create inventives for diversity in corporations

The first of each corporation type in a country gets a 5% quality boost. (The boost is not valid if the ceo and country are owned by the same player)

Population Migration

Increase/decrease population migration based on the country welfare index.

A high welfare country with worker shortages should attract more workers.

Migration within your empire
Increase migration within a players empire to help fill worker shortages.

I would like to see the return of raiding inactive countries.....regardless of war levels.

If a country goes past the "active in the last month" status, I think they should be eligible for war declarations, war levels out of the picture. A lot of players, myself included, considered the raiding of inactive countries as a fun part of the game, not to mention the assets you can obtain.

These countries now just fade away to the GM's. Even when a fedmate goes inactive, war levels prevent the other fed members from keeping the inactive players assets in the fed.

Regards, EC

No. Other way around. Government type should reflect the way you run the country.

War levels stay just for the cash gained from C3 warring. But give players a chance to reset to 0 once u hit level 1 u in the war game ur level should reflect the time u have to prepare.

I Agree with scarlet goverment should have bonuses Demo-Have higher production
Dictator-Use less troops

Things like that

Course the obvious

Q changes

how the effect corps and help pop ECT

I didn't say that. I said government should reflect your decisions . . . not that there should be ANY bonuses. I don't think government should confer bonuses . . . I think it should be based upon current and past statistics/settings of a president (doing nothing).

EDIT:

I would like to submit a reform for the change profession option. I would like to see a 2 tier distinction of the current professional workforce.

TIER 1
Low level workers
Medium level workers
High level workers
Low level managers
Medium level managers
Teachers
Nurses

TIER 2
High level managers
University teachers
Doctors
Senior doctors
High tech engineers
High tech seniors

Here is my rationale on the matter. It pains me to see my TIER 2 true professionals with multiple academic degrees having to subject themselves to a base level if they should have to transfer out of a career.
It would be advantageous to allow these TIER 2 professionals the option of a Management position and obvious the HLM can fulfill the MLM LLM role.
Just a desire that I have and I think as the game continues to evolve itself this is one of the items that should be looked at amongst the developers.
Thank you.

There is a Transaction Log on the World Trade page with reviews of recent country sales and purchases.

I miss a Transaction Log with my own manual sales and purchases, with info about the price paid. Bear over with me if that feature is available already, but I cant find it.

Almost forgot,
Add more increments to most features.

IE; a public corp gets a big boost for selling 76% stock. increment the boost so ya get a little at 26% and 51%.

what about things designed for welfare or items not essential to the game...

Shows, Sports, Vacation, Uranium.

These can be assigned to a planet. LU is the only one who makes uranium. Now to make Weapons Grade uranium or Pluto you have to ship it in if your White Giant.
Right there Nuclear power and Nukes materials need to be shipped in from else where(stimulating growth.
Golden Rainbow could make shows. Shows, Sports, Vacation instead of being normal consumer goods they become extras = increasing welfare and maybe increase birthrates or something.

Just a thought

Replace the game with an end user application that connects to the game server. That way you can add things like graphics and 3d animation without killing the servers.

Some of the previous suggestions are indicating you should hire Sid Meir lol

"Sid Meir" real person or myth?

Personally I'd like Sid's programmers to show up here. I'm sure they could add a few bells and whistles.

Also the boys from Paradox....though the paradox boys may make Simcountry too detailed and utimately unplayable....though I'm sure a few things from the Europa Universalis Engine could could be added.
