3. Moving Corporations: Preannouncement [ top ]
Moving corporations out of a country requires the owner of the corporation to pay the president a compensation for the damage to the country.

In some cases however, the corporation should be able to move out at no cost if the conditions in the country are unacceptable.

If taxes are higher than 40% the corporation will be able to move out of the country without paying any compensation to the president. Also, if there are worker shortages in any of the categories for workers in the country, moving the corporation out will be free. For this condition to be applied, the corporation must also show that salaries are at least at the government salary levels and that production in the corporation is limited because of a shortage of manpower. If these conditions occur the payment of compensation will be eliminated and corporations will be able to move out of the country without any payment of compensation.

This change will be implemented within the next two weeks

Ooops, I may have to apologise Maestro, its just charged me for one whose country had no workers for anything. Could be salaries were only 200 though, not high enough to challenge govt. salaries.

Just had to move some corps from player countries with abysmal employment situations and paid for the privelege.

If this has been implemented, it's not clear just what "unacceptable conditions" are.

My salaries are uniformly high. Compensation for moving has always been a poorly conceived notion. The original intention of stifling Economic Warfare that led to this "feature" in the past, has long since been made irrelevant by CEO Blocking.

It should be eliminated entirely, as it serves no purpose.

Agree closure tax should be eliminated as well in high tax countries or poorly staffed countries.

Closure Tax is stupid it should be removed all together.

Closure, Relocation, Regular tax, Salaries, Country Resource Fee, "Hidden" tax on your Finance page.
We are dependent on countries welfare(which we know C3 and most free players cant manage right without help). Not to mention we unlike country counterparts we have no Bid protection.

Quote:

This is the amount of money paid last month for the purchasing of existing corporations form another CEO or from a country. The price can be very high, the range is several billions to hundreds of billions or more. It can also be an amount of money that was paid to a country when the enterprise moved a corporation out of the country or decided to close it. Moving a corporation or the closure of a corporation causes major damage to the country and the enterprise is compensating the country for that damage. The compensation is 50% of the value of the corporation with a minimum of 50 Billions.

Utter nonsense.

"Please note that you have to pay 5% of the Market Value as damage to ...."

The movement penalty is still on. This country has a 75% tax rate.

Movement penalty is still in play in a 50% tax country.

"Please note that you have to pay 5% of the Market Value as damage to xxxxxx with a minimum of 5 Billion SC$. Given the current Market Value this means you pay 47.85 Billion SC$."

Side note

I was looking you know you can only send 120flights per day of aid from an airport a day

I have 1 of each base, plus 2airports thats only 600flights = 12units of food

12units of food????

Can these be higher?

i did some online research and it says a plane lands and takes off ever 2mins in the US.

Can this be higher maybe 500 flights a day per airport?
