Jozi Chat? (Little Upsilon)

I'm wondering when? My thinking caps been on for to long and my brain is starting to hurt.

Any news on when this is happening?

there was a date recently, but the site we used for the chat is no longer available.

we will organize it on the simcountry chat.
it will be on the forum ahead of time.

Perhaps we could persuade Laguna to run an IRC channel for the game...?

I would volunteer for a shift too, I hope Laguna would. Anything is better than the current chat system.

It has been down for a month or so. In the last few months of the server, it wasn't very much used. Still, it went away without a goodbye.

We could just leech off another IRC server and make our own channel there. That's what other games do. Although, I still think Simcountry should replace Jabber for an IRC server.

I would really enjoy a SimCountry IRC channel as the default form of chat.

What happened to the "IRC Server" plan?

Why can't Jozi just go to the normal Simcountry chat?

No more excuses. Is it really that difficult for "someone" to respond?

Even other leaders who are not even associated with this issue directly find "time" to respond.

Apparently Jonni Gil or some other creation moderates the forums.... "We read all of the forum"

1) Very few people come to Jozi chats anyway

2) Those that do *mainly* are newish players asking for silly changes that have been suggested many times before. (see SSRCP).

3) Any agreed issues are rarely addressed despite Jozi assurances.

4) Jozi and Tommi are like politicians, they never directly answer a question, give half non commital responses and then weedle out of U-turns or failures to live up to what was agreed.

5) If Laguna has been... how shall I say... de-commisioned, then the possibility of another getting set up in the near future is more remote that ever.
