This is becoming more and more of an issue.

Free players nationalize corps left and right or send messages that I'm producing so low when there welfare is low, Want to know if ur active or they nationalize, or they just want 100% of there country and they don't want CEO at all. Either way something has to be done to protect CEO's when u have new and free players nationalizing faster then you can build CEO there's an issue.

Personal id say nationalization should be a full member ability. Any opinions or words of wisdom?

Pfft.. let them SS, it's all good hard cash in your account. 95% will quit anyway so you might as well take the cash from the game while you can before the GM hoovers it up.

i agree crafty the 1T or so is nice but its really annoying every day seeing bids all over your corps its not that i don't like the money but then i have to rebuild and sometimes they bid when its not even upgraded and worth very little

I'm kinda thinking along the lines of Super on this one. It has been my question how the 'free' play game interfaces with the 'paid' play game.

Like Maestro and others, they don't mind when someone nationalizes without permission, because it is money in their CEOs. But there ARE players who take ownership of their corporations which tie in with their economic planning of their game. I certainly think it is something to consider looking into.

Thanks,
Lorelei

the GM made it so that a free player couldn't cause massive destruction in the war game(by making a massive free army then attacking paying members). But economic wise there's nothing. They as a country can nationalize at will, use free member CEO can hostile bid other CEO/take controlling shares. You can only bid back. Plus you cant war like you normally do nor can you propose boycotts

For me, the answer was to never have taken away the ability to war.

It still comes back to the original way.
If you didnt want war put up WP or learn to fight the wars.

There is no recourse in sc now for hostile bidding, chat bashing etc.
Anyone used to have game issues, they sent decs.

Yeah i can hear lots of you screaming like happened before...Wp, use it, what it was there for.
The only thing that really needed change was the abilty to use endless c3's. Everything else worked fine

I see the free play option as in this case pertaining to the economic side of the game, as being an open field for those who do use multi accounts in this game to wreak havoc and destruction on players' games. I think this issue should be addressed. Paid players put time and money into their game, and some sort of safe guard should be put into place. Just a thought. :-)

I agree 100% Blueserpent. I think they have tried to make the game easier, which obviously will appeal to mare people. They have tried to reduce the risk that can be experienced. The talk was all about how 'vets ' do this, or 'vets' do that. But you gotta realize that if a person has played longer, then they obviously will have the advantage over newer players. That's the way it was when those that are now 'vets' were 'noobs'.

But I agree that most everything was good, even the buying of WP, just not the endless, useless, worthless C3's crusades.

then you consider, the prize pay outs. when players don't have to spend money on wp, or military, that obviously will result in more pay outs. the result of that? a nerfed econ. war in sc is neccessary. like wild fires, here in cali, a couple years ago their was a huge fire near yosemite, people come from all around the world to view yosemite national park, and the fire near the park was so large it could be seen from space... now, the wild life is growing back, with tons of beautiful flowers

take away war, and you'll end up with a face book version of sim country.

war level restrictions should be removed. if you don't want to buy weapons and learn how to use them, then learn enough econ to pay for your wp.

as far as free accounts... honestly, i've had several new players send me messages asking for help. and given enough time of playing, and getting interested, they'll kick down. i think that the free accounts are good for the game. and i'm not just guessing. but yes, their should be some safe guards against multi, and free account abuses.

What I would like to know is this...is anyone listening? Will there ever be a reversal in the changes to the war game? It has been an ongoing topic of conversation, but I'm not seeing any response from the GMs.

Wow, Josias/Orbiter, can't believe I agree wif you on something. :S Does this sim miracle mean there's a chance..... a slight chance, I might one day get taken off your list??? :-)
