Lots of corps don't make enough or use to much for example space. Check this out

Lets say you make a single shuttle corporation. How much Shuttle Components corps do you need? well lets find out. A shuttle corp needs(Yearly)

24Boosters
18000Components
12Shuttle Engines
24Extensions
12Fuselage

Shuttle Fuselage make 1 Fuselage a year and use 1020 Components yearly.
Shuttle Extensions make 18 Extensions yearly and use 900 Components a year
Shuttle Engines make 5 Engines yearly and use 900 Components a year
Shuttle Boosters make 1800 Boosters a year and use 900 Components yearly

So you need
3 Engine corps = 2700 components a year
2 Extensions corps = 2700 components a year
12 Fuselages = 12240 components a year
1 Booster corp = 2700 components a year

That's 38340 components IN TOTAL!!!
A Single components corp makes 3600 units a year meaning a WHOPPING 11-12 corps of just components.
So really if you wanted to be self sufficient your talking an econ based on Shuttle corps. 30 corporations to make a single shuttle a year.

I mean really for 1 shuttle a year? This isnt the only corp either

Nuclear weapons.
Cost and Material wise Nuclear missiles uses the most. You think the more powerful strategic bomb would cost more. Nuclear defense missiles used 10times more a month then nuclear weapons do. In the end they use 100-130% more then nuclear missiles (feel free to compare). 180FMU a year for a nuke def and only 20 a year for a nuclear missile?

The list goes on and on. Just thought id raise this to the everyone attention and see if anyone else agrees for reform on the corps. Some fields make to much and some make to little . FMU if they upped the production by 500units you'd see the market go form -5M to -3M and price would stay the same because of the massive loss, Even Road/rail/water maintenance small increases = profit and growth.

IDK just thought id bring this up and see what people think

Side note...

The GM added techies to corps that never needed them aswell as never raising the production on them.

Why you need 20K techies to tell people to get sand?

The supply analysis is good and interesting. As long as those supplies are available on the world market, though (however that happens), it doesn't matter too much, really.

The bottom line is: do Cargo Shuttle corporations make a profit under "normal" settings? Saw one that does as a CEO-controlled corporation. Maybe others could give some feedback from what has been tried or seen as well.
