End of Days

anyone else hear about this prediction. i also read a warning about Zombie outbreak. you'd think these guys had better things to do. some people actually buy into this bull. just my opinion. but just in case, everyone go stock up on twinkies.

I suspect that if the rapture does come tomorrow, God will end up disliking those he takes up so much that he'll abandon the whole project and leave the rest of us down here to live out our lives in peace, free from all the religious nutjobs, as a reward for putting up with them standing on street corners with megaphones shouting abuse at passers-by for so long.

I know what you mean. It really takes all sorts to believe a zombie attack. We all know we will be annihilated by a vampire aliens attack next Tuesday.

If the rapture really is tomorrow, and we really get five months to jack off before the end of the world, the first thing I'm doing is burning down every fucking church in the city. And I really hope that there isn't a vampire alien attack on Tuesday. That would be the worst birthday present ever.

it doesn't start till 6pm. i honestly believe those alien vampires are behind that start time.

What time zone was the 6pm rapture estimate for? Or does it extend gradually over the globe from East to West?

We're well past 6pm here (UK). Does that mean we're definitely safe, or do we have to wait until 6pm US time to be sure?

according to the guy who made the prediction. it starts where 6pm occurs first. i don't know for a fact but i'm pretty sure he has a fail safe. being that the prediction has a plus/minus error ratio of a few trillion years.

Well, 6:08 P.M. here in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, and no bodies floating up to Heaven. Sucks, if it was true Scott Walker wouldn't be around anymore.... Oh well.

ya know, its too bad, because that nut made every christian look bad with his foney predictions. but I can say this, not all of us are like that. I do believe in the eventual Rapture of the church, but the prophecies clearly state that noone knows the day or hour of christs return! also i would just like to point out, that just because camping is bad, doesnt mean the church as a whole is bad. any more then one bad resturaunt, makes all returaunts bad.

The guy who made the prediction was Harold Camping. Maybe Shave should have capitalized it. Not everyone thinks about the fact that the SC community is world-wide. For instance, I have NO idea who the top rated rock band in Botswana is; someone referencing them in a thread would have me going "huh?".

Camping also made the same prediction back in the 90s. When he made this one he said the problem the first time was he did his math wrong.
