24. Increase the Spin Status: Please read our response [ top ]

Detailed Description:

Vote yes if you agree. The number of game months on all worlds should equal 6 per real day.

28 gamers voted for the proposal.
12 gamers voted against the proposal.

The proposal has been ACCEPTED.

W3Creative reaction:

Some do not want it. We are now able to increase the speed but there should be a difference between the worlds. We will propose increasing Kebir Blue to 6 times per day and see the reactions.

Opinions?

Personally i vote no Fearless blue and LU should be the only ones @ 6months otherwise whats the point. I do play on all worlds and as much as 6months would be nice difference spins make it more interesting and for people who don't have the time to make 6changes a day 4 is a fair compromise

Super, I told you this a long time ago, those proposals are like throwing quarters in a wishing well half they don't read. LU wouldnt be LU if it wasnt faster...just as if neptune didnt spin at its rate it'd be just the same as the earth, its realistic that they spin at a different speed, ur lucky they dont take as long as jupiter.

just saying the proposals...it always falls on deaf ears it sucks, and its tuff to accept, unless of course..you can give them a reason why it should be done, which in this case I can't really think of any, other than distance in space at certain locations considering the worlds should orbit something...perhaps maybe? to make it more realistic, and somehow include that with Solar energy?

AKA Jozi, add solar energy before I run nuclear energy to more than regular electric again.. Thank you. :) <3 Jess

Why should there be a difference between the worlds?

I agree that real planets do rotate at different speeds, but the total number of hours of work that residents could do wouldn't change - faster spinning worlds should really produce fewer products per month. (If a day was shorter, you wouldn't get the same amount of work done.)

Having a difference between the worlds gives an economic advantage to faster spinning worlds - that's why, when I returned to the game, I picked a 6month/RL day world.

TBH, 4 or 6 months/day, I don't mind either. Nor do I mind that there is an economic advantage to being on a 6month/day world. Just raising the point to add to the debate.

give people the choice, we have worlds with different speeds, if they want a faster one, they go to a faster one. if they want a slower one, go to a slower one, if they want one in the middle (me) go to one in the middle.

Nice Wild-eyes. Maybe if a country runs on clean energy their countries welfare could go up. Sure it would have to probably cost more to setup/invest in each type of energy (solar, wind, tidal) as in real life, but the increase in welfare should balance that cost out after X amount of years and them save the country money in the long run.

As for the spin......Why change it? Maybe its so unprofitable countries cost more to run each day making greater demand for sim cash?

2 worlds at 6 and the rest at 4 seems decent.
