My CEO made 200-250B when I checked it yesterday. This morning, it was -178B. My country went from 248B to 160B. It looks like nearly every corp lost money.

Thu May 6, 2827 Your corporations do not produce a profit. As a result, the enterprise is losing money instead of making some. Corporations make profits if they produce at full capacity and sell all their products. Make sure you increase production levels and hiring and mainly, make sure you sell the products in direct contracts or on the market. If there is a surplus of products on the market, you may decide to reduce your prices or increase your quality. If your products remain unsold, you will not be able to make a profit. You can make an automatic connection between the quality of your products and the price you sell them for. This will automatically update your pricing to the current quality of your products.

WTF...!

My CEO was banking good money I haven't changed anything,,,, and the nominal value of my CEO has dropped almost 50 bucks!

Total Profit -918.19B SC$ Profit or loss this month

That should be completely and utterly impossible. My CEO was 600-800b avg per game month.

They keep messin' with everything, and it throws everything off. My CEO was turning a profit and now it is in the negs, much the same as yours. Hopefully a game glitch, but who knows.

NiAi Group Total Profit -270.56B SC

Tasty :P

My Empire doesnt have such a huge difference.

For CEO:s, the profit is down in my case since for some reason, a HUGE amount of production is unsold/not getting accounted for. Maybe GM messed with the market buying formula?

Matt, it is not the trade strats. Nothing changed in those so why would the corps all of a sudden not sell their products? Oil, software, and electronic components for example--all show unsold products in the corps but have a shortage of over 5.5B units. With such a huge shortage and without ever having problems selling previously, why now?

My main's profit went 248B, 160B, 329B, and now 230B. What's stranger, is my main's profit has changed twice since I wrote this (329 and 230) but my CEO has stayed at -178B the whole time.

try a less agressive trade strat like 10% besides 300 Q is max
so if you have max quality lower supply
8,722.18M SC$ Turnover last month
Profit Last Month 2,311.13M SC$ Profit
Net Profit Last Month 1,213.34M SC$ Net Profit
cattle feed CEO lol
this I don't understand but like

Just saw the graphs on my enterprises and I only had a an abnormal drop on my enterprises. Yes, this bug happens from time to time. However, this time my corps were selling normally, thus explaining the absent huge spike in profits that normally follows.

Also, I've noted regularly money problems in my enterprises for a month or more as well, despite they've been reporting steady profits for a long time. There is certainly a problem here. If W3C is able to locate it and calculate it, they would do well to compensate the players.

No, Matt, this is not a sale strategy issue nor am I a Gamemaster.

Matt, you're incorrect. The point of an aggressive trade strategy is that you sell *more* product at a *higher* price, not that you sell *less* product at a higher price. If the CEO has recently adopted a new trade strat, they might see a drop in sales because no one buys the 130% priced goods, but after those goods have been in the market for a few months, they'll sell, and then the CEO will see continuous sales until they change strats.

I wager that your problem, Zentrino, might have something to do with both your corporations buying supplies and fluctuating world market prices. Is your enterprise new? Newer enterprises tend to have less stable profits because their corporations spend more money on upgrades, and the cost of supplies and upgrades isn't covered by profits from stable, fully upgraded corporations.

Or, it could just be a bug. Assuming it isn't a bug, I think this ^ is the most likely theory.

I doubt that it is trade strategy causing these problems.

4 of my enterprises on 3 different worlds were all doing fine with the same trade strategy. Now, with the same strategy they are not and products remain unsold for so long they sell at a loss.

I'm waiting for the GM to cut the BS and tell us why.

It was a glitch. This happens almost with every update. ATM it appears my GR CEO tanked for a single month, but doubled profit the next month. It balances out.

However, this was not the Case on LU. Profits did not double the next month. So I'm out a cool 4gc LOL!

Yeah. I was pulling money out of my CEO that was inactive for almost 60 days, now I can't seem stash any cash. It has been a few days. Maybe every 2 days I could pull at least 10T out. Nothing for almost 2 weeks now. This was only LU CEO though.

The Lost Souls of dead simplayers are trying to reach us. They must want to warn us about some grave mishap of the near-future.

O Spirits, please be clearer and get yourselves an account!

This used to happen a lot in the past as well, but I reported it to the Gamemaster and it stopped. Don't know how or why this happens again, but you guys know what you have to do.
