Please tell me this is a bug and will be fixed (Fearless Blue)

I went to trade some game money for coins and it says I have to ask for at least 10 coins what is up with that. I just want the 3 back I spent on the shuttle

Is this a bug or a 'feature' now?

are you in the "direct trading" block. i've not had this problem. it says "coins requested" but that's the max they want.

I can't offer less than 10

or ask for less than 10

It does seem that W3C have decided to the minimum to 10. Nice improvement, since a single digit trade are so small nowadays it just flood the system.

I disagree that it is a good change

We are allowed to trade for partial gold coins on shuttles and in space trade. As such I should able to trade for anywhere for 0.01 to 1000 gcs in increments of 0.01

If this is true then its a horrible idea.

10GC, 2T, is a lot to new players, like Dave who just wants his 3 coins spent.

Of course its great for tommi who can offer thousands at a time.

If the GM is trying to respond to the complaints of many multiple listings of one GC at a time, they could have limited the number of seperate offers a player can have active at a time. Also making it clearer to newbies that you can offer more than one GC and a partial sale might be made, would help tremendously.

So ppl, dont worry. A player needing less can accept less.

This is misunderstood.

You can easily exchange 1 gold coin on the direct trading market.
you can exchange a gold coins into cash and the other way around any time, directly and you do not have to wait.

As was explained here already, you do not need to accept an entire offer. You can decide how many to accept.

the 10 GC minimum is only when you make offers to others. There is no need to do that if you need 3. you can just purchase them.

we recently had people entering 20 offers for 1 gold coin instead of 1 offer for 20.
this forces others to click 3 or 4 times per gold coin while they could have done it in a single transaction.

Yah, thanks Tommi, I didn't think it sounded right to have to do 10 coin lots.

I'll admit, 30 1 coin offers are a little annoying. Though the time it takes to get through them allows other people to snap a few up, since those were invariably rock bottom offers.

If that is a problem why not limit amount of offers each user can make at once

as I explained before, it is possible, as before, to buy or sell a single gold coin.

but not offer one for examaple say I want 3 cold coins I am willing to wait the current price to buy one immeditly(sp) is 189B I can make an offer for and at the bottom the cuttent rate for Game money for coins is 180B. I can make an offer for 3 coins for 181B a piece saving 24B

Also while we are on the subject what about but and selling part of GC if a shuttle cost 3.50 I would like to be able to recoup the 3.5 with haveing to buy 4
