I own a space port and i rent it to an inactive player. He has had it now for a long time, like 2 or 3 real months, and he has been inactive the whole time. It seems to draw 5gc's from his acct automaticly to renew his rent. I cant contact him and i would like to use it for myself. There needs to be a way to evict unwanted renters from your space port in this case.

Try evicting tenants in New York City. It takes 8 to 12 months.

You know to be honest, as long as I get my GC, I don't really give a d**n.

All contracts should have a term (one week?) and be subject to renewal, at both parties agreement.

Personally i agree with Homer.

#1 The rate needs to be MUCH higher. The fact you pay 200GC and it takes me 4 REAL YEARS to break even and make a positive off of renting is COMPLETE and UTTER NONSENSE!!!

Docks should be rented on a contract. Minimum 1Month/Maximum 3months(real of course). The last real week a player gets and Email saying there lease is almost up they should talk to the owner. Time comes if they havent renewed or removed the goods they had the owner gets it fair n simple.

Docks should rent by month(as they almost do but it should be the owners choice. A rate between 0-20GC per month is not unfair. If you have 1you don't use and its a good friend you might let them slide with 0, your truly renting it out a 20. Longer someone signs your lease maybe a discount of 10.

Letting players set the dock rental prices would help with a space market then people would start to set new values on goods based on there rental prices.

Lastly i do think the docks are still expensive. 200GC is alot for a dock. Depending on the space center the price should very. Right now Cheese sells 188K units for 200B(1GC) yet it only costs 500M on the worlds there no reason to buy it in space. As i have said many times prices for docks need to reflect the market. You will not make a profit and pay for you dock. Dock cost to much

If the GM wants space to become a useful tool. They need to add market failures. Food, Aug, Mining would be effected if each few game years there was a surplus and failure (each differnt on each world it go a long way)

Losses of a major oil reserve mean all oils produce 20% less the next 2years.

New Pesticides help see vegetables grow corps see a 15% increase.

Each world has a differnt fail/surplus this means people will buy the surplus for when it fails and if LU is making a ton of oil and FB needs a ton of oil what will happen? People buy cheap on LU ship to FB and make a killing... Instead of forcing us with astriods/military weapons thats the BEST way to spur space trade

So you are saying that in the current system the lease doesn't auto-expire? Did not know that. I think it should... Me hurrays to the space section to end leases.
