Message: Hey SA, you remember that post i made a few days ago about protesting the changes to simcountry, i was banned from chating or posting anything on the forums for who knows how long becuase of it, also i cant send messages to other player using the communication system, it looks like anyone who talks bad about the GMs and the changes they are doing has this happen to them, i would apreatiate it if you can write a post on the forum saying banning people from the forum and from chat is not the way they should run simcountry

I dont blame them. Logging into this forum to find player after player bitching and moaning about how the games being killed and so on is hardly encouraging for new players who see it.

Last time I played this game there was nowere near as much moaning as this. I cant understand it either. I like pretty much all the chages thats been made.

Old Tenachittlan sent me the same message asking t opost what smokes did. I didn't and I agree with the gamemaster and woad while healthy dissucion and dissagreement or fine the bithcing and threat of protest is out of line. I like some changes I don't like others but I adapt and contiue on. I have cerian goal to reach that I would call success in this game and I'm enjoying trying to reach them. Nothing the gamemaster has done has taken away from my ultimate goals on here so I play on

I just did it Cuz he asked. As u seen I did not support his plan and thought he should have posted when he was less angry at the actions of the GM. I have posted on some issues and found out some of the changes didn't apply to fb. Everyone has a voice but don't cross the line or u get banned. Lesson learned. Now he must wait to have a voice again.

It's their game. If they want to ban someone it is their choice. Why would I open a business and let someone stand inside it and complain about everything I do?

Freedom of speech has never applied here. They do as they please. Hell, Jonnie even deleted the accounts of people he didn't like.

I am the only person in the company who can do this and it never happened because we did not like someone.

We only closed accounts of people who published racist materials and some people who came here to spread hate talk.

If you live in a country where you have freedom of speech, then SC is not stopping you from doing that. No one will be punished by the government for what they post here. But that does not mean a private business owner has to pay for and host a forum and then allow someone to bash his game. That's not freedom of speech--it's bad business.

As a new player, I am of the opinion that if someone who has been playimg Simcountry for a long time is not happy with the way the game is evolving, they don't have to keep playing it. No one is making you play the game and posting derogatory comments on the forums is rather childish.

Use the suggestion forum to post ideas and concerns, thats what its there for.

I don't lie, and jonnie has been known to delete accounts.

First, "There is no need" to "ban" leaders for giving some "opinions". This whole episode is like one big farce.

Second, there should be "warnings" issued, and the specific "problems" clearly identified.

Third, there should be clear guidlines in the site documentation stating specific "bannable" offenses, and the expected type of "ban" and the approximate duration.

Example: using common swear/cuss words on public post (1st offense: warning, 2nd offense: 24-hour ban, 3rd offense: email giving account sanction warning and 72-hour ban, etc.)

This is very simple to organize, and it would be a much more fair system than some random, anonymous "moderators or admins" arbitrarily making decisions with absolutely no justification.

I have never been able to delete any accounts from simcountry. I do however delete posts/threads when needed. Deleting accounts is simply not part of my privileges or duties as employee of W3C.
