The numbers used to be higher in the past.

If you have a military unit close to the target you attack, your airplanes will have a greater impact on the target and your losses will be lower.

The same will happen if you increase the quality of your unit.

we will continue to reduce the number of weapons in units and as a result, numbers of losses will decline.

Use drones to shield your fighters and you wont take any fighter losses. Ive won atleast 10 c3 wars in the past month without losing a single fighter. Its easy.

Daniel i just took 2 c3s in less than 1 hour.

Total cost of war to me 1.2T, it could have been half that if i had not used conventional missiles which cost alot. I lost no fighters in my attack against c3's. I just think you are doing it wrong.

Attack defenses of a non garrisoned target also, with a support unit if a neighbour.

How close do land units have to be to help air wings like that

Very close, right next to target is best, 35K I think is the official number, but how you gonna judge that?

When u click to attack a target, the unit list which u select from, gives u the distance from the target :)

But now... doesn't weapon quality effect range, I wonder if that works for support units, like a 250 fighting strength would assist from 50K for example...

I stopped warring when they did the last change. I loved using 400 navy fighters, 12 frigates and 12 guided missiles...One per attack...To take out the helis...When that changed....I put up the towel. lol I never got the hang out using ground forces except for painting...I use to just use SBCM for targets. ...Thoes were the good old days....

I would be very surprised if quality affected range.
