We have introduced a major error during the last update of the site on October 5. It caused salaries in many corporations to decline.
Although some salaries should have declined, the error caused the decline to extend to many more corporations.

The error is now fixed and salaries are back to the level before this change.

Here is what the result of this error could be:

1. Cost of salaries in many corporations declined temporarily.
2. As a result of the decline, the production index may have declined a bit.
3. The result of these changes can increase profit in some corporations and it can reduce profits in others. It depends on the salary level that might have been too high or too low before this error occurred.
4. Lower salaries cause a decline in the income and a decline in the cost of countries. Workers pay taxes and government cost indirectly depends on the salary levels.

If interested, check the results of corporations with different salary levels in the past day. You may find out that lower salaries are good for these corporations or you may find that the salary levels were OK or even too low.

We are very sorry about this error. Although all features are thoroughly tested before they are implemented, the high pace of development that is part of this quickly moving game world is risky.
W3creative is making its best effort to prevent such errors and has extensive procedures to restore and correct data in case any such error occurs. It is also possible to reset all worlds to their status a day earlier. This error does not warrant such a reset.

the salaries in my country have not been returned to their previous value. all have dropped a minimum of 70 points, typically dropped from 280 to 204.1. Surely this is beyond any intended "one shot" decrease in salary. Some corps that i had set at a lower index are now LOWER than the country salary index.

To upgrade salaries in all my corps to their previous value would cost more gold coins than i have.

Please have a look and see if my country can be fixed ASAP! (Republic of east yorkshire)

After a drop of approx 30%, salaries have reset to original values. However, warning msg is still being shown. Thanks for the quick fix.

I also play another game online. Sometimes they make mistakes and sometimes they take forever when they do maintenance. When this happens they give out free things. They have something simalur to the GC system. They give out free gc's to people affected by these changes. Maybe you guys at wc3 should think about doing this. Not all the time but when things happen and people get angry you must do something or they end up quitting the game. Just saying you should think about giving some GC's or even game cash when these things happen. I bet you don't get as many complaints next time and your customers will be happy to know you care about what they think.
