Currently

WG,GR = 4 per Day
FB, LU and KB = 6 per day

With all the direct trading and space trading why not make all the worlds 6 spins?

Because some of us don't have the time to play that fast. W3C will lose players if they stop giving them the choice to play according to the time they have available.

It was bad enough when they increased WG. Some of us have lives and jobs. It's not all about making money, you know.

Well now three worlds have an unfair production advantage over the other two.

What I suggest is the playing field should be level for all players.

We are entering a new era in the game.

Soon we will see players waring between worlds.

Perhaps the gamemaster will soon allow multi-world federations.

The old federation system is outdated now that we can transport troops between worlds.

...stay tuned....

* Remove population selling from the game.
* Increase country revolution risk for gross mismanagement
* Make all c3's 30-40 million in population. (Phase out the little countries)
* Maintain the war level system on all worlds. (Players at level 3 or higher are fair game
* Increase the spin on all worlds to 6

Players can build their empires faster.

Wars would become more popular.

Federations would be multi-world federations.

And yes some old players may leave W3C

but

many more would take their place.

Cheers,

Maestro

EC,

* why? (Your third reply)

The selling of countries would replace the selling of population.

Speed is whats needed in this game.

Faster to make an empire
Faster to make money
Faster to build up an army of professionals to wage war in the galaxy.

Also I say remove free players from the game.

We need players that can afford to play on multi worlds. People that can afford to spend money to support this game program.

Cheers,

Maestro

Maestro, why do you want to reduce choice? That is counterproductive to encouraging more players (even just paying ones) to play.

You seem to have a 'more-is-less' attitude to the game. You're arguing for fewer choices, fewer options. What attracts people to this game is the range of different ways to play. If you can spend 24/7 at your computer, you can play 10-country empires on all 5 worlds, and some of them are very fast. But if you have limited time, at the moment you can still play on one of the slower worlds and keep up with the way your empire develops.

If you limit this game to the people who have time to play on all 5 worlds, there won't be that many left. Given that the game is already limited in who it attracts (those who appreciate a long-term, numbers-based strategy game, as opposed to flashy graphics and immediate gratification), there won't be many players left if you limit choice that far.

If you want to put forward a persuasive argument, think about the bigger picture, not just what would suit you.

The gamemaster has made a strategic shift in the game to bringing the galaxy closer together. To making the five worlds more like continents. Space trading, added direct trading and the newly added/announced military units.

I am only adding what the next step in this evolution should be.

Opps, wife is home, continue this later

Maestro

1. No because then the war game totally dies
2. I agree. Welfare going below a certain point, Going into negative cash after their loan limit, Any index below 50. These should make riots/rebellions happen.
3. NO maybe 15M would be nice(since it is the breaking point)
4. Thats stupid it should be 1-7 all worlds
5. NO

Yes Jo, that is what is unique about this game, the lack of instant gratification. Lord I hope it doesn't go that way. Maestro, look at what you are saying, it does seem to be all about you and your style of play.

Respect and two hugs!!

I don't war so it's not about my style of play. I'm a napkin folding econ player.

The change to a 30-40 million population country doesn't do anything for me. I'm almost at capacity now and I never war, not even with a C3 since the War Level update. I only buy supersized countries rich in state corporations from time to time from retiring players. But this change would speed the game up. Players would build empires quicker and would have much more economic muscle to support their war machine. More muscle to support a professional army.

I'm a population buyer, never sold. So this hurts me but it makes the game more real.

Revolution risk is to make the game more real. If population selling went away this risk would almost completely go away as well.

Jo, It's not about reducing choices. It's about leveling the playing field for the Simcountry Galaxy game.

Super, The war game doesn't die with this. It brings it back to life. Also the cash market will be overflowing with countries for sale. Lot's of countries for sale for 50 coin.

Cheers,

Maestro
