Sometimes I wish things would just work like they're supposed to on here (Little Upsilon)

Like shares buying and selling promptly. That's all I ask. Sometimes things run smoothly, other times you'll put shares out and they will sit there until the month changes before any buying or selling starts.

You suck, W3C. For this and so many other reasons.

It's all down to the server processing times Archy, you will figure out the best times to sell and buy shares, mid to near end of game month and some have even narrowed it down to real time hours of the day.

That's why I offer my shares in the second half of the month, always, CC.

W3C supposedly even fixed the irregularities a while back in an update. Shares are supposed to process at regular intervals.

With so many new members playing, the server process loads are increasing, which is probably contributing to the irregularities.

There are still less players playing now than in the past. Plus, the servers have been upgraded a few times, as well as several updates to reduce the amount of processing. So I'm not buying the whole "server process loads increasing" stuff.

There are less wars, less players, less corps. There was a time when worlds were almost FULL, and stuff ran just about the same. I'm not buying this is anything less than W3C giving a continually buggy product.

May I add I remember there being (according to the ticker on the welcome page) some 13000 players around March 2011- now theres 9000. W3C should be holding emergency meetings with this trend.

lmao... what an epiphany. It is very likely SimCountry is just vulnerable to Bots on the free side especially without any captcha security.
