There has been some talk lately about decreasing numbers and in chat or that people just don't even log into chat. Here is why I seldom go into chat:
I use Chrome for my browser because Firefox always seems to lag on the war page for me. However, in Chrome, while in chat, I can never see the bottom two lines of chat. I can maximize the chat window and see everything until it is full, but after that, I can only read what is there after 2 or 3 more lines have been put in. Sometimes, I will play in Chrome and log into Firefox just for chat but most of the time, I just skip chat. Anyone have any ideas why it does this?

I don't know. I hate chat because it keeps disconnecting me every 5 minutes.

They should bring back the old chat.

Or they could upgrade it again, you know... to something actually good.

Oh, and the forums too, plz.

Chat's never worked in Chrome for me either. No idea why :S

(and, I agree that the forum needs an upgrade. Seems like I've said this before... there are sites where you can set up a more functional forum for free so no excuses)

@The people having problems with Chrome:

I use Chrome and know what you're talking about. What solves the problem for me is this -

I'll click in the chat box (you know, where all the text is), then drag the cursor down (highlighting the text) until those bottom lines are visible. Then I click again to get rid of the highlighting and it works fine.

Simple enough fix for a silly problem.

Chrome works fine for me :s

Dunno what everyone is moaning about...

If your having trouble reading the last few lines (of what someone posted), have you tried to highlight the text and scroll down?

If that proves to solve everyones case, me = ><

Super: I don't have that problem with Chrome. In game, Chrome works much better for me than Firefox did. Firefox lagged on war pages, garrison pages, trade pages, anything with lots of info on it. Sometimes it took 3-5 minutes to load the trade page.

CP has a good suggestion for any of you having connection problems. There are several chat clients available for free that you can set up for jabber, which this chat is.
Miranda is one I use (you also get to use caps on your name, woo hoo!), very rare to dump you.
Pidgen too I know is good.
And a bunch of others, try one.
