Did the GMs just change the level requirements or am I going mad? It looks as though Defence has just increased from 270 for level 12 to 300, and 400 for level 14 to 420.
I know the GMs are planning for war levels to become the new defence indicator but, given that you can't actually get to WL 8 yet (or have they also changed that?), which is the requirement for the upper levels, it's a bit much! Especially since I have very carefully balanced DI and FI, and as a result got up this morning to find I had just dropped down a level. GMs - please could you warn us in advance when you are going to do this, so that we can at least plan! Grrrr ...
The only good thing about this is that the docs have been updated and are accurate ... all of which leads me to question whether they have actually changed overnight or whether I am really going mad. Please, someone tell me whether I should call the men in white coats ...

Something major has gone on Jo. I have just noticed that on KB at least, a country can no longer order products at Q100, 120 is the minimum. I thought I had dropped a level too but couldnt be sure because the score hasnt reflected it yet. It is a DI discrepancy too. Requirements look like they have gone up. Particularly, I am using actual DI to level and not WL so this may well cost me the race to number 1 on KB

Yes, I'm seeing a minimum 120Q on weapons on WG as well - I haven't tried anything else yet. WHY???
I buy quality in my war slaves, but these ones I'm not going to use, I just need some more MIBs to get my score back up again.
Does this mean that corps can no longer produce 100Q goods or that, if they do, they can't sell them? The GMs have also dropped production for corps again. FMU corps are now producing 765 per month. It was 790 a RL month or so ago, then 780, 770 and now 765. If staffing requirements had also dropped there would be some justification, but I understood they are increasing.
The revised docs also say that Health, Transportation and Education index requirements have changed as well for the lower levels /me bangs head on table.
I understand and accept that the game is constantly evolving but, when you are playing at higher levels the balance is crucial and these sort of little details make a big difference. Advance warning, including all the little details, would also make a big difference ...

Game news has been published now. Note, you must go through each and every country to change order qualities as every product is set to be bought at any quality. There is no mention of minimum quality or production levels. |

It is still possible to order some goods at Q100 - Hospitals bought via the "important things to do" link for example.
I guess this could be a bug and orders requested this way may not be filled. |
