I just fought consecutive C3 wars, and noticed that the quality of the weapons jumped when the second war began. I believe it went from 150Q to 250Q. Is the 250Q the new standard for the level 7 C3's?

This is a big jump in the amount of weapons and ammo spent during combat. Is there going to be increased reward for this new change?

I'm suffering 4x losses on war lvl 3 C3 today. from 50-100 artillery to 300-500+ on Cities and Factories.

The loot may only just cover the losses :/

I did not notice any air force increase, only ground troops.

Both are C3 war lvl 3 countries.

Sorry to hijack your thread, thought it was similar change, but perhaps not.

All cities, forts and factories have doubled in ground defense for C3 (the same defence as capital). Bases remain the same.

Just to make things more confusing, after the month ticked over and map reset, I was finishing the last forts and the defense went back down to normal levels....

Gms, since level 7 c3s are at Q250 fighting level, can you increase the fighting level of navy immediately?
Its hardly fair to attack Q250 with Q100 weapons.

I agree with keto.

We need to see navies updated desperately!!!

Also if the cost is going up. 180Q-250Q = 38% increase that means players will need more weapons/ammo. Can C3 wars profits be increased to?

Honest suggestion to the GM. Artillery, Tanks, Armor vic's should be immune to Missile def and defensive missile batteries(MIB/DMB).

Think there MISSILE DEFENCE. They should protect against missiles only(makes no sence to fire a missile to stop an artillery shell) making these weapons immune to those batteries would open the chance for ground war.
Anti Tank batteries would become Anti Vehicle batteries.(these would use missiles, so missiles def would be active). This would mean the GM could encourage ground war. Throwing a few land def divisions would have a good effect to make the war interesting but still allow players to war without having to pay T's on air force or having to use navies. Also If you made it so that Anti Air missiles had a larger range/immune to helis that would be helpful. That would allow players to keep OAAMB in there nation and allow them to attack interceptors without being blown up by heli's.
Makes scene that Anti Air missiles should shoot down air force without the fear of being blown up. They gotta see 200heli's coming in they cant shoot them down?

These are just some ideas might make the game more interesting. If your going to up the Q in war make the weapons more useful

i did some war cost calculations, and i cant get anything accurate. I know i used allot more bombers then was actualy taken from my inventory. I also fought 2 wars in a row, my first war was way more expensive then my second by a few T. same setup was used in each war.

Seeing that your commenting on other topics Andy, could you perhaps explain why the jump from 150Q to 250Q in C3's. Thats is a major jump. And also, why no heads up. There's also other issues here as well that should be addressed.

k' he is in the middle of fixing this? So, did more c3 wars tonight and recorded my findings. As far as I can tell this change has tripled the cost of WL7 C3 war, for me anyway.

I'm starting to think no one gives a cares about this thread. Seriously!

Ok, we are getting troubles from the econ side, now we are getting it from the war side.. AGAIN.. yet hardly a mention that the cost of war has at least tripled!!

The promise from GM was, Smaller forces equals less cost..it was true, until this, now it costs more before the reductions! 150 to 250 Q for a c3, is a heavy step for us vets, let alone a new comer.

I did say in a thread that when the GM reduced the sizes of the garrison that protected my countries that i paid a premium for by upgrading them to 250Q only to find them back in stock at Q100, it did cost me Quads of cash!! seems no one cares and no one made a big fuss over that issue, in fact that issue still exisits, movinng to and from garrisons. Now this, 150-250Q costing us that this is "OUR" by that us war types(BTW, US WAR types, are also some of the best at econ, dont you know that?).. to get a head, to crap all over us once again.. Its as sneaky as your 100 to 120 Q BS, that you are yet to explain. isnt 100 suppose to be base line? now to add to the confussion of your making everyone having to add 20 percent to there calculations? You talk about making things easier for new commers.. PROVE IT when we actualy do see it instead of pulling our chain,

And for the people that has thanked the GM in the short past for the heads up on some of the game changes.. don't you think these game changes should of been given a heads up? And/or an explanation to WHY? In my opinion these are major changes, just the 100-120Q change is HUGE, your country is spending out 20% more then it used to on products to keep it running.. thats if you remember to switch it from the "ANY" default. KEEP THAT IN MIND NEW PEOPLE!.. like the gm cares sooo much for you, seeing as its still a secret, since its not in any game news or doc, or forum post from him!

does it mean we have to spend more money to take a c3 at war level 7? what about the cash in the c3? if GM put 25T in the c3 then it is ok. If not, we should speak up

Keto

Saturday, November 26, 2011 - 04:10 pm Click here to edit this post
yes you spend more money taking a c3 at war level 7, when you take into account upgrading all weapons/ammo to 250Q,plus more loss using a navy with only a 100Q capability.
15T$SC is available taking a level 7 c3.

I agree with keto the CHEAPEST way i found costed 11T on FB...4T plus maybe 2T in assests. The GM needs to increase the income to like 20-25T

Level 1-500B
Level 2-1T
Level 3-5T
Level 4-10T
Level 5-15T
Level 6-20T
Level 7-25T

Income gets higher because your going higher into the war levels makes sence, (does to me anyways)

At Q 230. My airforce attack and bombing wing lost over 2000 Precision bombers and a lot of drones, planes but still not clear a c3 airwings at war level 4. it is suck. time to rethink

Trinh try using fighter planes with bombers, you will lose no fighter planes per attack providing you have enough bombers in each wing.

I can take the ints down in a lvl7 c3 with just under 1000 bombers.

Has anybody noticed that the cost to take a lvl 7 C3 has came back down to previous levels? Or is it just me? It seems to have gone back down a few days ago, which is very very nice! Thanks Mr GM!!!

Seems the same to me TNT.
I justed attacked with 200Fighting n lost 100bombers plus Fighers. Thats alot of losses and i barely broke there garrisons n killed only 200inters. (that's around 200B+ for a single attack)

"I can take the ints down in a lvl7 c3 with just under 1000 bombers"
You have chosen to build a corporation that will produce Precision Bombers.
The maximum production of such a corporation is 24 bombers per year. Assuming there are enough resources to build this corporation.

Reason WHY WEAPONS CORPS NEED TO MAKE MORE!!! double production = double weapons/half the price easier to supply for wars and if they didnt cost 1B per bomber i wont worry about losing a ton in battle

I took a level 7 C3 recently and found it not very much more difficult than a level 6 C3. A few more airwings, certainly, and the forts took one more hit each to take down, but other than that not very much difference between the two. I only used a little bit more ammo and lost fewer weapons.

Hugs and respect

Easy way to beat c3, raid, expand empires, increase capital, get bored, get bored, die of boredom.

If they cost a lot, you have to look at alternative ways to take out ints, helis, garrisons etc. I'm not as advanced as you in c3 war, (only wl 5), but i've never used PBs and i've done fine... Only time can tell if i'll REALLY need them, and if there are cost effective ways of taking out a c3.

Homerdome (White Giant)

actually the only good thing is the amount of PB's needed as decoys. The time it takes is allot longer though due to the more targets it takes. As in, used to be one full point for a fort, it is now .85, also the number of air wings, even though they are much smaller, there is many more of them. Add that to the fact that the booty went from 15T to 12T really hurts. It is still profitable, but almost getting to the point its not worth your while. I really hope the new war levels will change all this and bring c3 warring back to a very profitable venture.

...Bump...

I have an honest Q for the GM. Whats being done to help players in the upper war levels?

Level 7-C3 the fighting level is 230
There's around 20 interceptor wings.(10helis wings)
60Forts instead of 50(now you need to blow up 26-28forts).
With units shrinking it seems like they are getting harder to destroy. Players have to pay for our weapons and ammo and yet the amount of ammo used per attack is increasing. It takes 1000tanks/1000artillery - 2attacks on a capital to destroy it (28Billion if 100Q ammo is used), If you had to use cruise missiles that number jumps massively. 100batteries use 500missiles per attack totaling 40B if 100Q ammo is used. The Q of ammo only decreases the number of missiles used not how much damage it does to the target.

Then on top the cash has dropped from 15T to 12T(20% drop).
Players used to get large amounts of ammo 80-90K Anti air, Missile def, Missile inter ammo. (used to get around 3T for the remaining ammo which was 120Q). But has since been removed.
The last thing is that for all this is very little has been done to help players just as equally as what has been done to C3. Infact it seems the lower war levels have been treated better. They start with much more weapons(several free airwings and LRD's), cash is increased, and warring made easier but the higher you go you work harder and gain less. When you a war level 1 fighting with a navy is good it helps. Verse a level 7 they get torn apart. Using 250navy fighter planes to clear out 1heli wing =30billion(dont believe me?)

250planes * 6missiles per plane = 1500missiles * 20M per missile= 30B(@ 100Q)
Worst part navies haven't been updated.

------------------------------------------
If the GM wants to see anything happen i think they should look @ increasing income or doing something to give back to those of us who have worked hard to get to the upper levels
